Loading times not ironed out?

Hey, I've been hearing at ITGFreak that there is an approximately 10-second loading time for the release build of the home version. Has anyone heard about this?

Ten seconds for some music and videos seems like a long wait considering the 2-seconds or so for DDR. I mean it isn't like we're loading half of Los Santos or something.

The version they had at the pre-release party had those loading times, but i don't know if it was their release candidate or not. It seems like there definitely will be loading times, but itg has more going on then ddr does..

I played it at E3 and the load times were pretty bad. They seemed like a lot longer than 10 seconds when you're standing on a pad waiting to play.

I've heard people say "oh, it's not a pressed disc." How would that make the load times faster?

I'm kinda surprised 321 hasn't been banned yet. Dahler Mendi is cool, too.

And yet you all overlook the fact that in Marathon mode, it wasn't any more than 3 seconds for the next song to begin.

No Reenee we don't overlook that fact nor you were the first to point it out. However, it is almost certain that there is a long loading time before a marathon course/fitness mode starts in which it loads all the songs.

In addition - loading times are a little more tolerable if there is some loading status indicator, a bar.

I'd prefer that to a "SURPRISE! IT LOADED!" sort of thing, espicially if the marathon courses take a minute to load. (That would royally blow.)
