TX-1000 + Ignition 2.0 on Wood Platform

I have a dilemma. I want to use my 1000 and my 2.0 for Doubles play (zomg setup) and while my 1000 stays completely put, my Ignition is too damn light and keeps moving around even with weights. I'm on a rug that I've placed because my paranoid parent of a mother is afraid of scratching the brand new pseudo-wood floor.

So here's what I'm wanting to do: I want to put both the 1000 and the 2.0 on a piece of wood that'll accomodate both. I know some of you know better than to just measure up to the edges of both pads, so I'm open to suggestions for any extra length I need to add.

Also, I play with my Ignition more than my 1000. I use it often, but of course, it moves. It'd be too much hassle to staple-gun the thing to the wood, so I'm open to alternatives for that. I'm thinking velcro. As for the 1000, I'm not going to do anything with that other than to just place it on the platform and that's it. Nothing else.

I'd say an inch on all sides is a good amount of extra board.

Or if the rug is big enough, you could put the TX1000 on top of the rug to hold it still, and duct tape the ignition to the rug.

Try Rychan's Ignition Pad Modification, I know it's worked for a few of my friends.

ALLWAYS get more than what you need. you can always make the woods smaller, but never bigger. (lesson from modding my own soft pad.)
