What's on your feet while playing DDR?

dude...I got a soft pad...and it's DYING!!! I usually play in socks and I make my family play in sox cuz if they don't, the pad gets all sticky and gross

It depends on where I'm playing, and what I'm playing on. Generally I wear my low-cut converse at the arcade, while I wear socks on my home dance mat, but that's only because my mat is the non-slip one, so if you don't wear socks, you're feet will stick to the mat. At my cousin's, I can usually go barefoot, since she has the basic mat.

I actually have a pair of special socks and shoes just for playing DDR.

at home I go barefoot. Other places my white sneakers with the sparklys on them. Or flip flops but never chunky high heel shoes.

Asics... Onitsuka Tiger Limber Up Moscows. Incredibly light, but your feet can get a little sore after a good amount of time playing.

umm, at home i play with socks, and at the machine, i play with my converse shoes, mainly because that's all i wear (shoes pple, not like that)

I wear my Converse high tops as well. It seems like throughout the majority of these pages the most worn shoe is the converse high top. Is it just me or is it soo much better playing in those?

-lighter
-doesn't slip or slide
-feels like you are playing barefoot, but it doesnt hurt
-they look cool

At home: Barefoot or stirrup tights (hey, I have to go to dance 5 days a week)

At arcades: My pink Sketchers that are falling apart and have strings coming out of them. NEVER go in just socks, though---my friend's toe bled through the sock. O_O

hey, i play barefoot too. i also think it better with no shoes unless i'm at the arcade then i play in normal shoes!
