Empty Cabinet

I was planning to build a metal pad and/or at least put Step Mania in a DDR Cabinet and shove a whole bunch of american pop music and anime in it. All I need is a cheap computer and an empty DDR cabinet but I can find one! I went to channel beat and all they have is empty Solo's and I really don't want to buy a full mix for 2 grand. So do you guys know any site that can help me?

I've been wanting to do the same thing. I haven't really looked for any cabinets yet so I can't help you there. However, last time I played DDR at the arcade, I borrowed a tape measure off of one of the employees and got the demensions for the entire cabinet. I didn't get the chance to look inside at all, but if you want the measurements of the outside as done by a 16 yr old non-wood worker, I'd be happy to lend 'em to you. They're not the best, (I think I didn't read it right a couple of times

) but it's something to go by if you don't find a cheap empty anywhere.

as you should know, genuine cabinets haven't been produced in a year or two. Most of the machines and their cabinets are bootlegged, so if your looking for authenticity, you're probably out of luck. Your best bet is to contact channelbeat or coinopexpress and make a direct inquiry. Demand for empty cabinets is low, but they might cut you a deal.
