How do you Select Your Songs?

I'm still familiarizing myself with arcade-only songs, so I just scroll unil I find one I like that isn't 9 feet, unless it's my final song. I don't want to jump into something unfamiliar if there's a good percentage of failure and waste the rest of my songs. Often, though, I'll do a song I know, like Jana Jana or Heaven Is a '57 also. I don't care much for trying to show off.

I choose songs that are addictive like tsugaru (apple mix) and other things that have you jumping all over the place or make you move fast like A renissance

Priorities for me at the Laserdome (potential crowds):

1: Whatever I think the crowd would appreciate. If I'm unsure:
1a: I'll actually ask what kind of stuff they wanna hear. I'll pick from that category. If I'm too nervous to ask or don't wanna look like an idiot for asking:
2: Happy hardcore. If I don't feel like it:
3: Rap or Hardcore songs (Super Star, Drop The Bomb, Daikenkai). If I don't wanna:
4: Difficult songs (Max 300, Paranoia Survivor). (I usually only do that on final stage.) If I skip that:
5: Scroll through the alphabetical list and see if anything strikes me (aka whatever I damn well feel like playing). If all else fails and there's 10 seconds left:
6: Roulette or Random.

Priorities if there's no crowd or I'm playing at home:

1: If I'm working on particular scores (which rarely happens), I'll do those. If not:
2: Whatever I'm in the mood for. If I don't know:
3: Roulette or Random.

If I can't decide within about 30 seconds, I'll just put it on random. And playing on that mode is just warmup since I play onis now.

Well, there's no particular order, except I have to play pink rose atleast once every set of 5 games, even if I've been playing for the last 4 hours

I also have to do Captain Jack's songs everyday because I personally think they're hilarious xDDD;;

But I really like any songs that are in languages other than English..it kind of makes it a little more interesting....

I usually grab the nearest chair and hit the buttons with it until a song is selected. And if I ever get a song besides waka laka, I throw the machine out the nearest window.
