But.......I *LOVE* I DO I DO I DO, and other cutesy, bubblegum songs.

I don't understand the big aversion to these types of songs. Who cares what you play besides you.

I like playing Love <3 Shine because the steps are awsome.

Alas, everyone likes different things....

As long as you don't forget to have fun! biggrin.gif

I'm not really a fan of girlie songs, maybe the female vocal songs with more substance (Colors, or does Irresistiblement count? Not sure.) Listening to the girlie ones tend to bore me and usually they're on the easier side, so I'm more concerned about PA than being all cutesy.

Colors (For Extreme) is my favorite song of all time on DDR.

And Mahou no Tobira is fun as well.

One could argue that some of the songs are girly, but it'd be a lot harder to argue that the rest of the songs are "manly."

"I'm Gonna Get You" is cool as long as you whip it out while you're playing it. Same thing with Candy*...not Love Love Sugar, though. That would be gay.

What's wrong with girlish songs?

The only ones I don't care for are Love Love Sugar (well it's kinda a corny for myself), It's Raining Men, and that Japanese song on DDR Max with Jap. girl on the front, and is Eversnow one of em, I need to hear it and I'll remember it.

The one's I don't mind:
Dam Dariram (Awesome!)
Candy (heart)
Do You Remember Me (With a great techno melody)
Can't Stop Falling in Love
Pink Rose (The first heavy song i've done!)
Well, there's more, all songs cept the ones at top.

I'm guilty of playing Moonlight Shadow every time I play DDR. It was my first good songs, and now it's my warm-up.

Girlie? I would say anything that makes me look like an actual dancer when I play it. Some examples of these are

Cutie Chaser (Any)
True (DDR MAX)
Take It To The Morning Light
Secret Rendezvous
Let The Beat Hit Em (Slow one)
Remember You
Baby Baby Gimme Your Love
Sana Morette Ne Ente
Kind Lady (Any)
Simply Being Loved
Your Rain

And the song below only makes me feel girlie because...

I'm surprised people don't considering Aoi Shoudou or L'amour et la Liberte to be girly. I mean, I certainly do, and I think L'amour is actually fairly difficult. That might just be me, though.

And then we have Irresistiblement, which could also be fairly girly, BreakDown, Cartoon Heroes (say what you will, this *is* a bubblegum-like song in my opinion,) and probably a couple others that I'm forgetting at the moment. I feel, perhaps?

Just saying, there are a few feminine songs that aren't boring.

Wow all songs I like and Im a guy. Well if someone says a song is girly cause a girl is singing the song you are a moron. I love all of those songs their fun, good songs to play. If anyone is gonna be that stupid to walk up to you while you're playing and say something like hahaha look at da n00b playing girly songs they will and deserve to get punched in the face.

For proof, go visit the G4TechTV arcade forums.

And CSFIL ~SM~ is the roxxor. Favourite song.

Meh... I don't look at a song as "girlish" (or "boyish", like Daikenkai). When I look at a song, I would look at the music, steps, and how well the two go together. Candy is one of my favorite songs. I don't care if others consider it "girlish", even though I don't.
