if Redoctane does make a pad for it... it better not be overpriced like those ignitions... and it better have a flat surface... Solo mode and the Technomotion suppourt on Stepmania feel weird on those Ignition things... the surface needs to be completely smooth... I already know where the arrows are... I don't need to fall into slots... lol

This is going to suck. Mad Katz has NEVER released a good product. Even if they aren't developing it, they're going to find some way of ruining the game.

Those are the official pads, not RO pads.

Their MC2 racing wheel is pretty good. But yeah, all their DDR pads have sucked. Heh.

Im sure it Andimiro and looking over the project, they will make mad katz make the soft pads almost exactly like the KN ones, therefore fans can enjoy a decent game. I know the gamecube groove game sux, but that had the mad katz guys behind its design, the already designed ones by Andimiro are excellent and they should force Mad Katz to market the same quality product.

Good to see the US getting PIU, i fear it may take a while and alot of units to be sold for a PAL release, that why I purchased the KN, its was a worthy buy!

You know, isn't it likely that they partnered with Mad Katz mainly because they were their favorite choice of company to MAKE THE PADS? One would hope they'll reproduce the good korean ones you speak of, but one thing's for sure, Mad Katz will be making the pads.

Maybe the people in this thread but I'm not sure maybe they don't? E19.gif E19.gif E19.gif

Don't come into a PIU thread and say stuff like that, it only causes problems.

hi reenee

Apparently the people who post in this thread and the dedicated thread in this same forum. Why?

IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T POST AND KEEP IT TO YOURSELF.

If the pads aren't that great like past Mad Catz DDR pads and the US game won't work with PC pads like the import, I guess I won't get the US version. I already have a rarely used PC pad that I'd like to use first before I open a brand new pad

Cobalt Fluxs don't work for Pump it Up due to the panels not being the correct size... in otherwords it sucks for anything higher than hard mode... and even then you have trouble on a flux.

Eh, we made our own control boxes for PIU on Flux and although it definitely takes some getting used to, it's defintely playable. I can beat the Crazy songs without worrying about getting lost on the pad now, although at first it was kind of odd.

Whoa.. interesting development.
Not as fear-inspiring as I expected though; I first thought that meant they were handling the localization instead of Mastiff.. a co-op, no problem with that. I'm not overly fond of MC, but if they think they can do it justice, more power to them.

aiight check it:

Gamespot already mentioned this about 2 months ago, they say the release date is May. (then again they also say it is a puzzle game).

Heres a pic of the pad that will be bundled:

If that's the pad, you all should stop worrying: That's the EXACT SAME ONE that comes with the Korean PS2 Exceed.

And it rules.

EDIT: Noticed a slight difference; the X/Y/A/B thing is new.
Aside from that though, looks exactly the same. I think it's the same quality pad, just modified.
I'll probably be buying the XBox version, so it's for the best in a sense: I'll have one for each system then. :)

What do you mean by they "aren't very mediocre"? Are you trying to say that they're good or bad? And just a little constructive criticism: you need to put spaces in between your sentences.

Anyway, they need to start making metal pads for PUI, because most people aren't going to be able to deal with the soft pads for long.

hmmm mad catz eh?
that usually is BAD, but we can all have hope that red octane will make a better pad, and besides as long as we mod the pads it cant be that bad, besides were not even sure how the pads work until we acually play on em, so theres hope in that.
like i said before, mod the pads and theres nothin to worry about...i think
