There were seven songs removed from Exceed 2:
Burning Krypt (the whole song's about marijuana, uses n- once or twice)
Lovething (a lyric about passionate sex/intercourse)
DJ Nightmare (uses n- once)
Can You Feel Dis Or Dat (the chorus: "Tell me who's a real b-/tell me who's a real man", etc.)
You Don't Wanna Run Up! (the worst of them all: 'cause i'm put motherf-ers on they back')
Get The Party Started (The infamous "I'll be burnin' rubber / You'll be kissin' my a-" [really lame since this is a radio song] )
Betrayer ("Even though your punany be stankin like fishes" - this is especially stupid, since it's been in the game in every mix before this)

These songs were also locked out of PREX 3(except GTPS since it was new) and Exceed, but the difference was that they could be unlocked in those. Exceed 2, they're not there at all.

Do you know how to unlock those songs in Exceed?

You need to have your arcade's tech or manager open up the machine, and use the interior to access the operator menu.
Once you're in that, go to restrictions, and you can switch the songs from DISABLED to ENABLED.
Boom, you got yourself some illegality.

I heard that was actually done in New York, since the locals got sick of it being played..

Not illegal in the literal sense, just that they're banned from nearly every arcade in the US.

any tips on how I should go about getting to the point I was on Doubles on DDR with PIU? I was up to 8 feet on ddr and I'm just wondering what would be a good start but not to easy for me on PIU doubles?

I haven't tried PIU doubles in a while, especially with the poor condition of one of our pads. But, anyways. Freestyle mode is pretty decent. Anything in that range isn't bad. Some of the higher end songs will sort of soften the blow of nightmare mode on you. I think Freestyle songs go up to 9 or 10. But definitely avoid nightmare like the plague for a while.

I don't know. I can play 11s on ITG and 10s on DDR, but I'm only up to 5s on PIU. I suck at PIU. :C

Well, as far as doubles(That is, non-nightmare) go, the easiest I can absolutely think of is probably Go. Almost no usage of 8th notes, and a couple cross-pad freezes. Watch out for almost any classical remix, techno or rock song, the freestyle charts are practically full of 8th notes with those.
Some even 16ths. (Vook IS a Nightmare, freestyles like that should have a 'Bad Dream' rating or something.)
Most of the hiphop ones are real easy too, like One Love, Soca, Fiesta.. some like FA3 and Naissance 2 aren't that bad either. Most freestyles are usually around the 4-7 area, so I'd say that's a safe area to stick to. 8's are when the runs start coming into play. and a 9 is Dignity territory(disputably one of the toughest freestyles ever).

Stuff like Vook and Mr.Larpus are a good reason why they should have left the name as Full Double.... lol

Ok... So I found a PIU EXCEED2 machine in wisconsin (unfortunaitly, in the middle of the state...) and I, ofcourse, play Starian. I loved this song from DDR3rd mix VK2 (Or was it VK1?). Anyway, I want to know which game had the song first. I ask this because, well, the backgrounds are *exactly* the same accept for the bands name "Duke" added to the lower right corner on Pump.

Exceed 2 kicks ass.

Actually, the backgrounds are way different.. in 3rd Mix Korean, Starian's title is centered and printed horizontally.
In Pump's, it's diagonally printed. F2 Systems designed that background, and I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and wager they have(and want) nothing to do with Konami. The DDR background was just random imagery stuff, Pump's uses the psychedelic spiral effects(F2 tradition).

The edits were different, too.

Oh, and I think PREX/Extra had it first, but I'm not sure at all. Probably pretty close together.

Are you sure about that? I Just looked at the background for Starian on 3rd mix, and it is printed (same text, and same background) as Exceed 2's. The only differences is the edition of the BPM and the band name. Maybe my source is wrong.
