The thread title being "DDR's miricle" makes the thread title catchy so you'll look into it. I think. At least I did. laugh.gif

imo DDR in gym class is pretty cool, but it certainly shouldn't be too big a thing in PE, cuz one of PE's main focus is not actually on what sports are being played or how good people are at certain sports, it's actually on teamwork. And the fact is DDR can't really teach you teamwork that well, I think. (I mean teamwork as in people doing the same thing together at the same time to accomplish something, not as in one-person-playing-and-other-people-cheering that kind of teamwork.)

Yeah, that's another problem I have...though the same can go with running. but in some schools, they tie everyones feet in a big chain so they have to run as a team. =o

Yeah, having DDR in gym class is great, but how is it a "miricle" Someone regaining their leg power through DDR is a "miricle", not getting it for gym class. Sure, DDR is nice...but it shouldn't be an "every day" gym class thing. Maybe a prize. But why not run, or just walk?

It's hyperbole. It gets replies.

Seriously I know this mentally challenged woman in her 20's but still plays well on Heavy. frust.gif Ironically she knows a lot about the game, the history, not to mention she used to be my DDR sensei at a GAMEWORK's I used to go to. riiight.gif Her name was Renee Moore.

Wow this should definitey be locked because this whole "Make fun of stupid kids" deal is getting out of hand. Special Ed. kid gets excused from gym by playing DDR. That's great. Moving on...

our p.e. teacher is PARANOiD and too cautious; he won't allow here unless it was a "ddr miricle!"
