Does anyone have links to stepmania announcers? The MAX2 guy is getting on my nerves (I downloaded the stepmania.com ones..I just wonder if there's a collection.)

If there's already a topic on this, sorry, lock it then.

www.stepmaniastuff.com

This site hasn't been updated with in a while, but it gives you something more than the default announcer or the standard downloads from the stepmania website. Also good for noteskins, themes, character downloads and other stuff.

Be warned that since this site still hosts some older versions of these downloads, they may not be compatible with the newer versions of stepmania (such as rc3 that was released today: https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=37892).

Your best bet is to stay up to date at the forums on ddrmaniax.net, bemanistyle.com in addition to here but keep in mind that beggars can't be choosers and you get what you pay for, so *tactful* suggestions are always nice for these gracious developers.

I'm sure the admins will do their thing if the links violate anything, but hopefully not since it's the solution to many questions out there.

Also, make the most of this simulator stuff while you can because no one knows what's going to happen concerning the lawsuit that Konami is filing against the makers of ITG. Not that the two are directly related, but then they aren't exactly UNrelated either and so I'm just saying enjoy what you can when you can.

Thanks...

I think that's actually for ITG itself, I couldn't be close to sure though frown.gif

Stepmania will survive biggrin.gif What, they're gonna come tear it away from my comp?
