Theres also a program called dancing monkeys that makes steps for you(I think). _________________

anyMania does much much more than that...It contains a game system in itself. Also provides a lot of exciting features and effects such as Mania Studio, playback rate adjusting, online score submitting and ranking, etc. |

anyMania supports winnt/2k/xp only, sorry

There're a lot of features in anyMania, most of which are free indeed. Unless you want to be a member of Mania Ladder or use other cool stuff, you need not paying for it at all. |

Where is the mods menu?
The beat detection is wrong - it put 50 Cent's Disco Inferno, a 98 BPM song, at 120 BPM.
Timing is awful.
Lots of work to go before your program even becomes an afterthough. |
Disco Inferno was detected at 97.1bpm on my machine.
You may check anyMania user guides and use Mania Studio to perform a custom detection.
Replacing windows MPEG CODEC with MP3 SOURCE CODEC may help too. |

I did do a custom detection. I had to change it to the #3 to get it to work semi properly.
Still doesn't fix timing issues.
And the MP3 Source Codec I have installed, still didn't change much for me.
Mods menu and Timing Fix with Heavy Steps? Maybe i'll give it a second look. |
Do you mean the gap? You may adjust the offset value by hand in Mania Studio. Use the spin buttons or type in the edit box directly.
The steps generation is still simplified in current version and will be decorated deeply in future versions. That's not a problem. |
