Play Frozen Ray and do the spins.

and talk to them while you are doing the spins... if you don't know how to do the spins... LEARN FAST. they are extremely easy.

and I don't agree with Max 300 scaring away girls... wtf is so scary?

Don't use the bar(only on Max 300)... it won't make you look good, but don't flail around.

And play some doubles to impress them more. Doubles always impresses people... like... no matter what...

Gesh. Now THAT's sending the wrong signal. But I'm sure it would make you very popular with some boys at your school.

Avoid, my friend, avoid.

Songs that make you look as if you're having a seizure - such as Max 300 - should be avoided. You want to look as if your dancing, not as if your button mashing with your feet.... AKA, go for more freestyle, slightly easier more melodic songs that you can AA or AAA which will make you look very good, especially if you can do some freestyle moves and waltz around the pad as if you own it.

After a certain point, the songs which are non-stop streams and spasms to music don't impress non-ddr players... they just scare them.

Now, if I were to dance It's Raining Men, it's one thing.... and my husband would be very amused... but if he were to dance It's Raning Men... I'd be concerned.

Non-ddr-playing girls generally don't care what you play; they pretty much think it looks good no matter what. That said, spins seem to get the attention of on-lookers pretty well, female or not.

Do easier songs and then invite her up and play remember you with her. It worked for me. You could also script something with someone you know where they insult you and the girl and then kick his a$$ in DDR. These have been tested

^^ Wow...I'm sorry thats just sad lol....But anyway...Try afronova on heavy and on the part in the begining with the crossovers do the facing sideways and look at the crowd while doing them..and R&P really is a good crowd drawer....also try Saints on doubles and spin the gallops...

As a girl, but also as a DDR player, I know when I watch someone play Max 300, I don't get scared off, I get intimidated. I only once found a player who attracted me, and he was doing heavy songs on double in army boots. *Grins*

R3 seems to work well to impress.

Especially with the bar jump in the middle. ou get a whole bunch of, "Oh My gOd!!! He's good!"

Witch Doctor is good as well. It's a song they recognize, with some crazy steps to impress. It works.

Yeah, wen i was at Bumpers, i attracted a crowd of like 6 teenage girls, but i got no praise.......

Do songs like Do You Remember Me?, Healing Vision (Angelic Mix), oR something with a lot of stream .

Stay away from: Little doggy, MAX series, PARANOiA series, or anything with fast speed.

I don't think they'll wanna hug you if you're all sweaty (specially after healing vision, or somethin).

Girls LOVE guys on the sensitive side.

OMG, this remindes me of a funny story that happened to me

Ok, so where I play, the game is right next to the party area, so everyone in the party area can see first player. So I was playing, and after I finished a hard song, on heavy (for get the name >.<) I looked over and there was a party of teenage girls watching me, (I'm 16) there were like 30 of them lol, it was great

Anyhoo, invite them to play with you. Let them play choose the songs, and you should play either standard or light. Heavy intimidates them.

I played with a girl once, and I got the message after 4 rounds of 'Do Me'. lol

DDR is just like rollerblading. if you want to impress a crowd who knows nothing about rollerblading, should should to a huge air. but if you want to impress a crowd who knows ALOT about rollerblading, you should do something tech. same with DDR. to impress a crowd who knows nothing you whould do PSM(0) or any of the max's. but chances are, songs like SO DEEP and BAG arent gonna do much impressing to people who know nothing, but to people who play ddr. thats more impressive than fast stuff. you get what i mean?

My advice: DO NOT play it cute.

Doing a cute/funny song will get the girls to giggle, laugh, hug, and like you. That may seem like the right response, but we all know what happens to "nice guys" that befriend hot chicks.

Instread, I suggest both mixing your sensitive side (ordinary world, something like that) with an impressive-but-not-disturbingly-difficult song. That means no 10-footers. Pick a song with a good beat, so they can get into your rythm, rather than think you look like a crazy maniac hopping around. And don't do anything overly sexual-ie humping- either. That sends the wrong message.
