I hope its as durrable and as sensitive! I want a pad as good as the CF with lowered buttons... Maybe I'll end up getting both CFs and afterburners and have them in different rooms with my different playstations ( I have 2- 1 for japanese DDR and 1 for USA). But I really want these pads to be what we a expect. |

WHAT is going to be for early june? I don't get it. His post is edited.
However, did anyone notice that today the afterburner page has changed?
It now says:
Availability: Pre-Order: Usually ships in 5-7 business days.
Go to http://www.redoctane.com/redoctanemetalpad.html and see for yourself
Woo hoo! So I'm a bit perplexed - it still says preorder, but now it says ships in 5-7 days.
I put in my order last night. I can't wait to get a real pad! |

I'm thinking that when it comes out, it'll take from between 5 to 7 days for them to ship out your order. _________________

Ohh you guys! I finallllly realized something! We were all worried about the metal ( like the center and the corners) bending over the side, and with a closer look, I finaly realized I (we) were wrong! The metal is SOLID... but the button bends up somewhat and overlaps the solid-ness and kind of gives it an appearence that it hallows out in the center. Does anyone else see what I'm talking about? Its just because it bends up and makes it look like its thin an bendable, but its not. The reflection of the metal on the bend up button gives the allusion that you can see under the metal surface. |

You would be seeing the reflection of the black panels doing that. _________________

this is going to be my first metal pad and i was wondering, if i decide to use it through a computer how would i go about mapping the buttons? is there any special software?or is it just a matter of setting the right mappings through whichever program i may use it for? _________________

You just go to StepMania and map them out. It's quite simple really. _________________
