I got my Fliptop but when I boot up Swap Magic it's really loud and kind of worries me, anyone know what's the deal and if it's bad for the PS2?

Does anyone know anything about this company? I ordered from here to get a flip top like a month ago and it still hasn't arrived. When I try to track it, they don't really reply and when I sent them an email to know whats going on, they told me they were changing servers. I don't know if this is normal or not to take along time. How long did it take for anyone else who ordered here for there top to arrive? I'm just a bit concerned.

You aren't going to get it. Never ever ever order from them again. Email them asking for a refund and in a day or two they'll refund you. The bastards DO NOT SHIP THEIR FLIPTOPS. If you want a Fliptop order from www.ps2fliptop.net they shipped it to me in 3 days and respond to every email I send personally.

i ordered that for $7 and I'm going to try it out. I'll post here on my thoughts, I like this idea better than the tape method/ along with the 3 piece set thing (minus that 1 piece the tape replaces).... anyway, once it gets here (probably friday) I'll get a review up for it.

untill you give me video evidence of that then no it woudlnt work for the reason i state either the region check or the game checksum would fail

ive got a 1001 modle (thats what you mean) and while i can get disk swaps to work with all my other games no matter what i do the appends dont work so either your wrong or the machine you saw it done on had a mod chip in it

Here is how you load an append. 1. Load DDR 3rd Mix or 2nd REMMIx. 2.Go to disk swap screen. 3. Insert a USA PS1 game. 4. Carefully lift up spring and put it back in place. 5. Game disk will start to spin. 6. While disk is spinning flip the USA disk out and put the append in. The game should now load. May have to try a couple of times to get it to work. I would know if an append would work because I can do them on my PS1 using this method.

Anyone have a link to the anti-mod codes for 3rd, 4th, and 5th mixes for PSX-change 2?

I have a DMS3+ modchip, and I'm having trouble getting my 4th mix to work. I held down triangle and got the game to boot, but then after it asks me if I want to save it, it gives me a crazy error message that I can't read. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

If it's a black screen with white bars (or text) and a red circle with a line through it diagonally, (you know, a NO type of symbol) then DMS3+ is not bypassing the modchip lockouts of 4th mix.

Does anyone know where I can get a pre-modded PS2 with a modchip already installed? The one in the first page is a bit expensive. Anyone know a better solution other than flip top? I tried intalling it on mine but didn't work.
