For the most part, what is considered good? How long does it take the average DDR starter to get from Beginer to Heavy? How long sis it take you?

When is a player considered "good"? There's a sticky in the Gameplay forums for that.

As for how long it took me to go from Light to Heavy, I'm guessing about three months. Of course, at the time, people in my area had never heard of MAX 300, we didn't care that some guy named Yasu was AAA'ing shit in his sleep, and we all played merely for fun. We had no real need for improvement.
