don't be such downers on a different idea that isn't aimed at the usual ddr customer,...
the way i see it is that if they get more pplz to ddr, even if it is a different version, it'll make the game more popular in general... which hopefully would mean there'd be more of a reason for them to be creative and keep producing new mixes and games
that's just how i see it anyways =P |

| What about Party Collection? Who wants to bet that Extreme 2 is Party Colletion? We obviously are getting more games, because we have yet to see PS, PSM, PSMO, Max .(Period). |

Hm, this sounds pretty neat.
I'm intrigued by the infrared rubber pads they mentioned in the article. I would not be surprised if Konami eventually started up a new arcade DDR series with a completely overhauled machine, and a form of this pad emerged as the new standard.

I don't care what it is, if it would become a new arcade mix, I'm playing it.
So Konami...where is that new arcade mix anyway?

That has the potential of being a good idea, but you would need the songs to populate it. DDR Studio wiii actually help get my buttocks away from Waveland and into the gym, cause god knows, I need it.
On another note, those pads sound great. 8 people playing at once, to echo previous sentiments, when will regular players get these, cause im tempted to go to my gym and borrow of couple of those. |

You forgot something: Make it like extreme in the arcades. Extreme US is the reason (other that I have no good console other thatn an N64) that i play exclusively in the arcades. |

IDK...It doesnt sound like something I'd skip the arcade for, but then again, I haven't seen it used or even seen pics of it. But I still prolly wouldn't skip my chance in a usually empty arcade to play.

i seen it in the TODAY show this morning around 7 AM pacific time and gosh it is horrible! i think that it was just an US EXTREME with a small monitor and two CF pads.
