My girlfriend just got into DDR, but she loves it.

I got her into it by playing songs from anime.

I think you are taking that WAY to seriously. How do you know that DDR is even that popular with the girls where he lives? Where I live, There is only like three people that play standard or heavy and none of them are girls! They all have just caught on so they arent any good yet!!!

I read page one and page fourteen.

My girlfriend can pass most 9s and also enjoys Pop'n Music. I did not randomly buy her ice cream only because she was playing DDR... that's just how we happened to meet. :)

Tip for single guys: Buy CF pads and hold DDR parties. Worked for me. :)

I think it would be cool to have a girlfriend that plays ddr, it would give us something to do together because im lousy at holding conversations(most of the time anyway)

She has to be someone i actually like, i wouldnt date a girl just because she plays ddr we have to have more in common

Actually, I thought every guy's dream was a gal who could suck a golf ball through a water hose filled with peanut butter... maybe I just roll with a weird crew. E19.gif

My GF can beat 30+ cata's. She even keeps my Solo 2000 machine in her garage in pristine condition. She rawks. love.gif

(...Even if she did initially stalk me online because I was the only one on Napster sharing ParaParaParadise MP3s.) erm.gif

Long story... *heh*

I've met some pretty cool guys on DDR... personally... I know alot of them because you know....regulars...so I see them quite a bit..... but hey.... I go by personality.... because not everyone's gifted with beauty on the outside...

...and another thing.... here's a pistol. If I ever say ANYTHING that cheesey sounding again, draw pretty pictures in my head with the bullets. Mmm'kay? Mmm'kay.

Truly spoken. I personally find inner beauty to be a much more attractive part of someone.

Please learn that there is an button for a reason. There's no need to double (let alone triple) post in a thread.

True story: I travel on business all the time, and on Wednesday I flew into Tuscon for a trip down to Green Valley, Arizona. I always try to hit some of the local DDR locations on each trip, so after checking DDRFreak's machine locations, I decided to try to find the basement of the student union at the University of Arizona. Finding the university was fairly easy, finding the student union was somewhat easy, finding a place to park was only slightly tricky, and finding the DDR was a bit more of a challenge but nothing I couldn't handle.

Anyway...

There was a beautiful girl there. She played on Heavy Double, and she was amazing. Not only was she quite good, her style was incredible... she wasn't just dancing, she was floating. Pure superhuman grace. She made it look entirely effortless, just smiling and flitting between pads and spinning and twisting as if it were nothing, as if she weren't even trying, but with such under-the-surface energy, and never missing a step. I've seen a few people do Doubles before (never a girl), but none of them made it look so natural and graceful and magical. She danced like a human-sized faerie might, but she also had the radiance of an angel. It was truly awesome in the original sense of the word. It was spiritual. I can't even begin to describe it.

I've honestly never seen anything so beautiful in my life.

She was rather damn hot all on her own, but it was her grace at Heavy Double DDR that really put her over the top. I was taking a rest when she walked in and I admired her even before I realized she was headed for the DDR machine, and then when I saw her put her purse down on one of the speakers my heart skipped a beat and I started praying to every god that I don't believe in that she was going to dance. When I saw her put in four tokens, I was paralyzed with anticipation, and then when she selected Double, then Heavy, I was overcome with joy and expectation -- and then she proceeded to blow away even the highest conceivable expectations and transcend anything I could've ever imagined possible for anyone. My life is truly better and richer for having seen her dance. I will never forget that experience as long as I live.

Yeah, I want someone i like to play with me while i play ddr. You cant find too many 14 year old girls who goto the arcade to play ddr weekly. Infact, i havnt met any 14 year old girls that could do heavy at all. Oh well, cant win em all

DDR is an interesting way to attract girls. I played a DDR USA machine at DisneyWorld over spring break, and attraced a huge group of college girls. E4.gif
