There is a fallacy in this statement. Why would Konami of America know what Konami of Japan is up to?

Thats exactly what what I was thinking. They may have only been talking about ddr mixes in that country. Unless the friend wrote to Konami of Japan or we have a duplicate of the letter showing that it was talking about Japan, then we cant jump to conclusions

Because they're the same company.

KOJ releases most of the same games as KOA. They obviously have to keep in correspondence. Its not like they have no idea what the other is doing.

I have a copy of the letter, let me find it. He was pretty straightforward.

I'm hoping that you were just pretending to be stupid when you made that comment, and that it was only meant to be taken as a joke.

If DDR dies, we'll always have SM right? (ITG seems sorta illegal for some weird reason...) But still, DDR will always be in our hearts... And if they stop making DDR, they might fire off Naoki since most hof his/her :baffled:songs are DDR. But then again there is BM...

That post was kinda like an episode of Family Guy. The opening punchline is hilarious by itself, and you think that there's no way that the rest of the episode could beat it, but then somehow, the writers present several more great quotes through the rest of the program.

Um, I'm an arcade owner and I've thrown in the towel on DDR..just because a new mix in Europe came out recently (for 16k haha right) doesn't mean a new American mix is coming out. Go try ITG a few times, play ITG2 when it comes out later this year *cough*summerperhaps*cough*, and then you can have an educated opinion of it. Don't base your opinion of ITG on stepfiles that you have at home. ITG1 definitely isn't perfect, but it is a step in the right direction for keeping things going. I recently flew to San Diego and attended a fairly large ITG tourney down there, the atmosphere was great, and i don't see anything that is stopping ITG2 from being a success.

I think that people who are complete ignorant immature assholes should get warned, rather than those who are clearly (perhaps a tad bit too clear) stating the answer to a commonly-asked question. Question asked. Question answered. Problem solved. Moving on. Wonderful wonderful. And no need for sarcasm or being rude, or immature (though, some truly cannot help that because their brains actually haven't matured to understand when to quit- and yes, I'm completely serious with no intent of offending by this statement). If you ask me, posts that reak of immaturity get very annoying (but what is DDRFreak for, anyway. haha) to some, but if you want a serious question answered, ask a serious question seriously and try to act and speak as clearly as possible. Then, in return, as stated, you might get a more serious response.

This thread is gonna get locked sooner or later.

I felt that that post had to be made very clear. The only way to do that was with my gigantic text.

People have been beating this dead horse for way too long. The facts all stck up, yet people choose to be ignorant and think that Konami will come through for them.

It's been said over and over again by most of the more expierenced DDR players (the ones who have been playing for years) that this is over. Then it seems like several times a month a new thread is created with another random newbie talking about "How could konami stop ddr its so popular" and then someone says "not in japan which is where ddrs market is" and then theres some arguments and the thread dies.

I'm sick of it. So I made that post. I dont really care if I'm warned, or banned. I hardly ever read this forum and I was just bored during school.
