eh, that's up to debate as well. I got 92 on it and I double stepped a few times cause I was doing it no bar (some of those turns are way too uncomfortable to do with the bar, and too fast to do without...). Matt300 did the whole song without crossing over once and starred it (though he did get a higher score when he crossed over the next time). so while one mis-step isn't really a fail, it sure isn't comfortable or practical. |

Yes, because nobody is good enough to get 3.5 excellents on a song. |

Syncognition - as long as Matt300 is going to be claiming scores that are not mathematically possible, you should try to have him get above 100% on a song. |

well then perhaps he remembered it wrong. keep in mind we don't have memory card slots at rocky's and a lot of our scores are written down/photographed long after they are recorded on the machine. I seem to remember it being 4 excellents, which by my math is 99.84%. Why you guys have such a problem with this and immediately call his scores fake is beyond me.
at any rate, a comperable score is very much possible and if you doubt his skill it would be like me ragging on JSB (which I never do). I know you defend him Kiba because he is your friend. You yourself say no one can judge his skill unless they've seen him play. It's the exact same deal here, so lets not make this into a "Matt300 is a liar" rant. You've seen his pictures and you know what he's capable of, and I play with him all the time and see him play, so I know what he's capable of. |

Maybe, but it's my understanding that is an arranged situation. Jet posted that score to see if Matt300 would claim to tie it, because he noticed a pattern in the way Matt300 updated his scores. Sure enough, Matt300 promptly tied it - impossible though it may be.
Matt300 has also talked to JSB and described some oni scores which would be at John's level (ask LILQ about the pictures he saw at RGC Alpha). That's not impossible, but he would need to show something close to that.
Nevertheless, I'm not convinced he could have gotten 99.84% on R&J from the pictures you have shown me. R&J is harder then flying high, and he would need to be twice as good at it as he is at Flying High. This isn't to say I'm for sure that he is lying, but the way he updates his scores and the pictures you have provided for me don't prove that to me yet.
For what its worth, Jet really did get 99.8x%, I saw the score on his home machine. _________________

Y noT wrote: | Totally. Kinda like PS or PSM actually. Easy stuff til the death run. | I'd call PS a 10 through and through. It's easier than the death runs, but it's not so easy to be called a 9 or anything. It's much more consistently difficult that MAX 300, at least. Lots of 1/8ths all over the place.
However, the death runs are easier than the death runs in MAX 300, so I'd say it's more like "10... 10" than "9... 11" like MAX 300.
EDIT: I'd call the beginning of Mythology 10 material, too. Crap turning 1/16th runs all over the place which break me. I almost FC'd Walking on Fire, and I can't FC that crap. Steps make no damn sense. _________________

So Delirium is a 10.

hahahah TRUE. Kind of like "VerTex is a 12 because all the mines could give you trouble the first time you see them. It's a lot easier later, but at first it's hard: Therefore, 12. Euphoria has such complicated rhythms the first time you see it that it could be called a 13. It's a lot easier later, though, so it's really a 12....

Syncognition,
Let me add for the record that IMing me at 3AM and telling me you could easily crush a passing score on BMR A Sudden Shuffle Flat Reverse Boost 1.5X does not exactly endear me to the honesty of your corresponding claims or integrity at large.

I'm bad at crossing over, so I have a 98.15 on Disc Hyper and a 94.99 on Mythology.

Wait" | But I passed VerTex on my first try, without a Cmod. And I passed The Beginning on my fourth or fifth try. And I can't pass Mythology.
Therefore... uh... I just suck at teh dance games. _________________
