One More Extra Stage - SM

I posted a while back asking if it was possible but couldnt find my thread . well anyway, I did it... I took some screen shots and also have a "cheating method" to do it easily... well here are the links

Remember to get OMES in SM you need to AA the song that it selects for your ES (its in yellow)

Also, your OMES MUST be the same song as your ES(it locks it like in roulette)

Cheating method- highlight below to read


Well SM picks your ES song from an open header, at least on the Series sort. what I did was pick a header that has songs I already AAed without any trouble... or you could REALLY cheat and make a new header with a song like butterfly being the only one there .

Summary:
AA your Final Stage

When you pick your Extra Stage song go to Series sort

Go to the Header you want

Select any song(yellow or not)

Start it

Immediately after selecting it hold down the cancel button(Esc or whatever u have it set to)

It will pick a new yellow song in that header

AA that song and there you go, OMES

If you stick this in your song files

#COURSE:Extra1;
#SONG:*:8..10:1.5x,reverse;

Your extra stage will be random to songs that are 8-10 feet.

Save as a corse file!

Well, I've got a copy of extra1 in each individual group folder (partially just in case and partially because I want to keep the "hardest song in the group as extra stage" thing going once I figure that out), but just putting it in SM/Songs should work.

On a related note, it was kinda pathetic. I finally earned OMES for the first time the other night, and wound up failing in three seconds after getting a Good on the very first step. Heh.
