What's on your feet while playing DDR?

Ive just started playing but in the arcade i use my puma speed cat. They dont offer much support but you can feel out the buttons well.

i have an ignition foam pad at home so i just wear socks, but when i go to the lan center they have cobalt fluxes and aaugh, they hurt like nothing else without shoes after only 10 or so songs. so i just play in my prince tennis somethingorother style shoes. they're supposedly ultralight. my only problem is i can't tell where i am with shoes. one time i was dancing half on the carpet during r&p and i didn't even notice.

Socks man, you need socks. I never DDR at home without socks because I'm paranoid about dirtying my pads. The arcade I go to also has some uncouth people so shoes are a must. Well, that, and I need the added stomping power since those buttons have been pancaked by stompers. Boo 300 pound people who're better than me!

ehhh..if im goin to play its either goin to be in my G-Unit RBK's or my DC's. Those seem to be best for me....but who cares wut shoes u wear...its all how u play the game

i wear vans, but i really wanna get something lighter and smaller; vans are pretty clunky.

i use my vans or my DVS skate shoes

they are comfy and keep me from sliding all over the place

I play barefoot when im at home, and if i go to an arcade, i either play with my shoes, or with just socks on, if they arnt slippery. i hate playing with shoes

I have these deck shoes that my grandpa gave me that are literally 50 years old. they have surprisingly good grip and support and you can feel out the mat really good

I wear the same shoes I wear everywhere else, which are New Balance. Most of the time they're fine but they seem to get loose to quickly these days .

i wear cast iron blocks . nah i wear Umbra's. light, comfy, and good grip. plus they add a kind of bounce so its good for psm.

I play completely barefoot but in arcades i don't wwear shoes:P i go in my socks but i slipped once and twisted my ankle so I don't recommend it...Everyone says playing barefoot hurts on the bug metal pad...I started with barefeet and continue to play barefoot:P

I play barefoot. And I play so long that my feet literally bleed.... at the arcade. I don't use a pad at home because all of the home pads suck buttocks. I've learned from experience. >>;

Unfortunately I haven't been able to play much lately because im trying to let my feet heal.

I'm trying to get used to playin in my converse... but its-- different. But hey... I can pass Max300 heavy with a B with shoes on... so it's not that bad.. it's just better for me, without.

yeah man, it's the chubbors that own me too, lol. I'm about 200 and I kick everyone's butt cept his and some skinny guy with glasses who can do all the songs backwards, without looking at the screen. I wuv DDR club
