Now, in my eyes, there are two diffrent ways of playing DDR. Either

1. Actually dancing with ur whole body while playing the game, or...
2. Moving your feet, and gradually getting better and faster, and rising through the ranks from light to heavy.

So my question is, which one do you prefer?

This is probably already a thread, but oh well...

I used to be strictly be a Tech player, but I started freestyling and I like it a lot...so I guess both.

I'm sorry, but this isn't dancing. If someone told me that I'd punch them in the face. How does stepping on arrows equate to dancing?

I've never understood the concept of freestyling. I look at has being redundant and unnecessary. Just step on the danm arrows and let that be it. Since the days I was a noob I've only cared about AAA'ing.

What else is there?? E19.gif

This should be locked. There's probably already a zillion threads about this, and most of them usually end up in flaming, like DDR or PIU (or ITG) threads.

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

This thread is going nowhere but flaming. Some people like PA, some people like freestyle, some like both. Does that answer your question?

I'm a freestyler, but I do PA also. Basically, I'm an all around player.

Now that my opinion is out you can lock it! E7.gif

Most people, including myself, will say that they prefer PA and tech because nobody really freestyles anymore.
