I've recently seen variations of Maxes, like Max Revolution or Generations or 2004 or the rock version. Are these official (like they appeared on another Bemani game), or just good remixes that have become popular? If there are official Maxes besides the ones in DDR, could someone give me a list?

The only officials are MAX 300, MaxX Unlimited, The Legend of MAX, and MAX.(period).
Anything else is fanmixed. neoMAX should be official though *snicker*

| I thought the rock version of Max300 was technically official, as I believe it was released in a Konami CD. Not sure, but I think the same applies to Omega. |

I'm pretty sure those aren't official, nah. Some can be convincing though I"ll agree.

It's not RED in the songwheels of EX US and Festival for no reason. Konami is deeming this a MAX. |

(in order of appearance):
MAX 300 - Omega
MaxX Unlimited - Z
The Legend of MAX - ZZ
Max. (Period) - 2MB
Maximizer - Cli-Max S.
Max 300 (Super-Max-Me Mix) - Jondi & Spesh

exactly. if a song is not on an arcade mix, it can't be played with the arcade's .03 second perfect window and grading system (as opposed to the home version's .045 second window and fucked-up grading system), unless it's pirated. therefore, if someone AAA's max.(period) or max 300 whatever mix on their home version, it's easier than if they did it on an arcade machine. plus, arcade machine plays are cheaply available to the public (NOT THE ARCADE ITSELF), which means more people have played extreme AC than extreme US CS, so a lot of the crappy new songs on US mixes are completely ignored

| I really dont think that maximizer should be a max song, i mean, it doesnt even sound like the other max songs, and to be real, its kinda lame... Its the black sheep of the family, the little brother who gets picked on... Even Cutie Chaser (Morning Mix) gets its licks in on Maximizer... |

damnit, once again i was proven wrong. ohh well, thanks anyway. maximizer?. hmm i think it shouldnt be a max song just because it has the word "max" in it, for example if say, Bag was "Bag maxX.(period)" do you think it would be a max song? no, it would rather be a mix,(sounds cool though). if it DID sound like the other maxes and made by the same people who made the other maxes,(or not, because maxX unlimited was made by "Z" and legend of max was made by"ZZ" its still a max) would be considerd a max so therefore Maximizer shouldnt be a max.

YEAH RIGHT. cutie chaser (Morning Mix) is the lamest exuse for a DDR song and should be shot
