I dont know if there already is one, but woudlnt it be nicer if there was a thread that was dedicated for posting about your own step files... because i come to this thread trying to find actuall simfile packs/rars or zips. and all im really finding is random ddrfreak users posting about 1 or 2 stepfiles they made.

This has to be my best file. Everything is in sync, the patterns fit the music perfectly IMO, everything is good. Leave a rating comment ON BMS plz. I worked awhile on that one.

The place where I play only has a crappy US 1st Mix machine. Any suggestions where I can find simfiles for those songs (Butterfly, AMP3D, etc.)? I know there are a gazillion remixes of Butterfly out there; I'm looking for the actual one the machine uses, and the same with the others.

Is it just me or do most DDR sites (at least the ones at the beginning of this thread) seem to be offline?

Alot of those sites are outta date or closed down; as for butterfly and the rest, I have no idea, but I could copy the butterfly official steps if you'd like, and IM you them. (providing you give me some way to IM you)

Thanks Nils. I'm actually more interested in the music than the steps, because the volume on the DDR machine is low compared to the Pump It Up machine right next to it and it's rather difficult to hear the songs. (I've only been playing for a few months so I don't know the songs by heart like I'm sure most folks do.) Not knowing the songs makes it harder to play since I work better with the beat of a song than I do with watching the arrows on the screen. I guess I have better ear-foot coordination than eye-foot coordination....

So if I can't find the music it doesn't do me much good. Thanks for the offer.

yeah, that would save me some work. God I hate people on BMS, specifically DJPATO and his alts. I rated his so deep rock guitar a 6, so when I submit a good one (got two nines and a ten) he gets the rating lowered to 3.7 by rating it a one with ALL THREE ACCOUNTS. People like him make me want to smash things.

It's getting harder and harder to find Sim Files.

Almost all of those links Phrekwenci listed are bad.

Good thing BemaniStyle and DDRUK (when available) are still around.

Here's a completely re-done version of my "Nemo" sm file. I actually know what gap and all that stuff means now. I hope you all like it. New BG and completely re-done steps. Quite paddable for those of you with pads. Please rate and comment. Would make me happy. Here's the link.
