Sinistar:
Thanks for the info - I guess we have to wait until PIU is released to determine how Andamiro has mapped the Xbox version especially because there is only one trigger button on each side (unlike PS which has an L1 L2 and an R1 R2). Also - great website - very informative. |

I'll give you whatever you want for one of yours. PM me.

After unpackaging three fluxes, I have become really good at that I know what you mean though.

PLEASE ALL NEW FLUX OWNERS LOOK AT THIS THREAD
Sorry about the large font, but it's very important. I was ready to get out my old softpad again, I was so dissapointed with my flux before I read that. _________________

I also just got my new CF but in the weeks before it came, I read just about every one of the "read this first" type of topics on the CF forum.
I tried it first without loosening the screws and it was ok, but thought it could do better. Then I got down on the floor, saw the bowing up of the panels and immediately went for the screwdriver. After a bit of trial (an extra tweak or two) it is playing wonderfully.
I may only be a beginner (at light level so far) but just in the last 5 days since I got the CF I have improved a great deal. Hopefully, I should be up to Standard within the next few weeks. |

Tried searching for this but no luck:
Does anyone know if the CF pads are the same dimensions as the arcade platform? I currently use RedOctane Softpads and have noticed that they seem to be smaller in size than the aracade pads. |

I've been able to find the CF dimensions, that was the easy part. It's finding the arcade dimensions that's hard. It seems the only way to do this is to go to the local DDR machine and measure it myself. |

I don't know the arcade dimensions, but I do know their not the same sa the CF.
On another note, regarding the 'secret project' CF has, inside sources tell me that it is both am Xbox control box and a bar attachement. _________________

Lexan is very similar to plexiglass, so you need to get a special type of cleaner. I am somewhat familiar with this type of cleaner but don't know any brands (I grew up around private airplanes and the windows are made of plexi.) You might do a search for plexiglass cleaners and ask at those sites if this will also clean Lexan.
But above all, DO NOT use regular window cleaners. They will cause the surface to cloud over and nothing will get rid of that. |

I still wanna buy a CF pad so bad, but I'm waiting on the native xbox version they are supposed to be coming out with. I saw on some other forum I googled that it should be out within a few weeks... I guess I'm stuck with this redoctane foam ignition pad that I dropped 100 on at gamestop...
Then again I'm sure this RO will bust in a few days/weeks and some arrow will die or a sensor will go out on it like everyone says, and I'll have my money back and be playing DDR on a hand controller, lol. I hate playing in socks. Cobalt Flux needs to get movin! |

ive seen you on the CF forums, just try it without the bar, it is a lot more rewarding, you earn more stamina, better balance, and you can be overall better, and if you care THAT much, you could build one |
