I have searched the internet high and low.

Does anyone have any info, pics, etc. on them?
And do they have a CD available anywhere?

uhm, the DDR Random chat specifically states "No DDR talk in here"
Except for a few songs, all songs that i know by Wildside are from DDR.
So. This is directly linked to DDR. Wildside, as far as I know, ARE a DDR artist.

You're going to have a hard time getting any info on wildside...

From what I know of them, its a french duo, Jean Gaston Renard and Georges Aber... And based on what ive found on google, I'm willing to bet its a songwriting pair, commissioned by Konami to create Euro style songs.

There doesn't appear to be any Cd releases by them...I searched Barnes and Noble, and Amazon... There was one CD release by a band called Wildside in the early 90's, but it could be a different band... all the song titles were in english... The name also appeared on a recent "Euromix" compilation on BN.com... again, no way to tell if its the same group...

EDIT - I did find this cd released in 2004 by Wildside, and since it's listed as an import, it might be them...but no way to verify...

As for their song, My Sweet Darlin, i'm pretty sure this isn't even theirs originally... I think that Hitomi Yaida did it originally.

Did they even do any other songs for Bemani besides Irresistiblement and My sweet darlin?

I fell dumb, but where does Wildside come into DDR? Do they have some other name or something, or am I just so far behind that it isn't worth it to explain it to me?

My Sweet Darlin' and Irresistablement were both done by Wildside. If you haven't paid attention to either of them, you're missing some good music.

Hmm, that's interesting, because the information I've found about Wildside is completely different from that. Basically, everything I know can be found here, Eurodance Encyclopedia- Wildside, and here, Mp3Disco- Wildside
From what I can tell, Wildside consists of two people: Willy and Tatj (no clue how to pronounce this). Tatj is from Russia, Willy's from Italy. I think they're on the Italian label SAIFAM, but one of those pages mentions they were on a label called 21st Century as well. Interestingly, neither of these pages mention My Sweet Darlin' or Irresistiblement. Perhaps that means that those two songs were indeed commissioned by Konami. Anyway, aside from those songs, most of their releases are singles, with their only album being one called 2 Become 1.

And yeah, My Sweet Darlin' is just a cover, originally by, like you said, Hitomi Yaida. That seems to be a common theme in Wildside songs, making speed remixes of songs. They also did a remix of Ba Kkwo, a K-Pop song in 3rd Mix, called Queen of Love.

They also did a remix of "Heaven is a Place on Earth" as far as I can tell from looking around for them. They seem to hide from the radar very well.

yeah, basically. they do remakes of songs.

Songs that were in DDR: "Irrestiblement", "My Sweet Darlin'"
"Irresistiblement" was originally done by Slyvie Vartan. The original is amazing.
"My Sweet Darlin" is a cover of the song by Yaida Hitomi. nice song

Other songs that I have come by:
"Asereje" cover by the song by Los Ketchup
"Heaven is a Place on Earth" - Belinda Carlisle ?
"Speed Japan" - from Dancemania. original or cover?
"Queen of Love" - cover of Ba Kkwo Lee Jung Hyun

Lefty

That import Wildside CD that is on Amazon.com is not them. Its a reissue or something of that metal band from the 90's.

oh noes! teh Kunio573!!11

thank you! you gave me a VERY useful link
