Yeah, I made a post about excessive sweating about three or four weeks ago. I sweat like a faucet. One or two rounds on heavy and I'm going to be dripping for about twenty minutes (even if I'm not playing and just sitting down). goog.gif Tired? Not even close!

I play DDR every Game Night at my university and all of my friends and some of the regulars have pointed out at least once how much I sweat. I can't even talk to any of the cute girls who I see at the arcade, because I sweat so damn much. But I guess that's life. You play DDR, you should sweat. A lot. If you don't (like all my friends), you are a hideous freak of nature and apparently not mammalian. laugh.gif

And for the record, I'm 21, 6'3" and 160 lbs and can do all 9's and about four arcade 10's. (not a weight, age, or skill level issue there)...

Well, we have a fan on our machine, but I don't think that really matters.

I sweat pretty bad after a Heavy round (no Maxes or anything, just 8's) and usually I have a little towel with me if I make the trip to the arcade.

I routinely sweat through my shirt and whatever towels I bring to the arcade.

Takes about 3-4 heavy songs to get me sweating.... The worst is when it drips down onto the pad and your shoes start squeaking on the moisture. goog.gif

lol that's nasty.

I usually only start sweating after a few nine footers topped off by a ten footer or two.

This is the most retarded thread i have ever seen, of course you will sweat if you play any songs that are hard, then again if you play light i doubt you sweat.

If you sweat a lot, it's a good thing. It means you have a healthy cardiovascular system. I used to be pretty in shape for a while, and during that time, I sweat like a fiend. Lately I haven't been so much. It takes me a while more.

But sweating while playing really depends on how much energy you're exerting, not necessiarly how hard the song is. I sweat while doing light and standard when I first started because it was hard. Now I don't.
