Well, it looks like they finally have started the countdown to the reopening of DDR UK. Right now, it's at 9 days, 13 hours.

Its too bad this might be an April Fools joke, since the countdown stops at April 1st 2005 6:00PM EST.

Notice I said "might". Im not 100% certain until we get official word from the admins saying it will be back up.

Becides, it doesnt say "The site is coming back up in 9 days 13h 13m 57s". All it says is: "Be prepared... 9 days 13h 13m 57s". Which means we can "prepare" ourselves for ANYTHING. One possibility is the Fools Day joke.

That would be interesting if the whole thing was an April Fool's Joke to begin with. I highly doubt that though. That'd end with the DDR UK staff sending fake "You're being sued by the RIAA" e-mails to the entire user base on April 1st. It would be funny, though.

Yeah, that would be funny!

BUT... there is one problem with that:

RIAA=Recorcing Industry Association of America

Not only is ddrUK based in... get this... the UK but all but like 10 of the songs they had/have up are Japanese songs which are not owned/under the power of the RIAA

But yeah, it would be funny!

Well, if you want to get technical, you'd be sued by KoA/J/T/H if anyone. I'd find it very ammusing if they sent mass e-mails like that.
