play to impress

I play both for bragging rights and to show off. I'm a pretty big guy (not really fat, just a generally big person), so when I freestyle or go for an intense song, a small crown tends to draw around. I've also become the unofficial DDR spokesperson for Fry's Electronics, 'cause I play there a lot when I get the chance (which has been none lately), and have even helped sell things for the store ('cause the store people in that area don't know shiz and just try to sell the most expensive stuff they can for commission)

Who the hell do I have to impress? All of my friends are better than me but no one cares who is better than the other one. We just go to play and hang out, as well as write down scores and stuff.

I weigh 110 and I'm 14 years old...so it is not to lose weight...
I play for fun most of the time. I always like to completely destroy cockey 18 jocks, and crowds are just a big plus.
Ever notice how crowds come when somebody does a 5 footer, but then they leave like you were dipped in dead fish when you play a 10 footer?

Yes, that happens a lot, I play, crowds come, next people play, they leave.

Ok, when people play DDR and other people see it, the majority of the time they will be impressed. So technically your always impressing people as you play. You guys could keep going on saying how they dont want to, but the human mind can be entertained in the smallest ways

Obsession with this game has taken over my mind and body. I love to play even if nobaody is around,i love pushing myself beyond even my own expectations.

I also like getting a crowd that don't play ddr because they don't know how to judge you. Me, for showing off puposes, I show them what memorizing an entire song looks like by playing Rhythm and Police in stealth

I suppose clearing a few 10s looking like an airplane (barless) could impress some people, other than that, i do that to improve my balance, regardless if anyone looks.
