I don't like what a lame-ass synching job Konami did on D2R.

I don't like the Captain Jack songs, any of them. devil.gif

The background videos are lame and boring. They should have the same graphics similar to IIDX.

Definetly the lack of Challenge steps.

The hardware for the arcade machines should get serious upgrades. Like change it to Windows XP (How 9th style was upgraded). But of course, Konami should test the timing, if you know what I mean. E13.gif

Just hearing the same songs over and over again when you play Ex in the arcade. The songs gets old over time.

The announcer seriously needs to be turned off. Ever since I've played ITG, I'm so used to it to not hear an announcer. It's a relief.

EDIT: I really hated the scoring system before Max 2, especially the US version of Ex. It's hard for me to determine if I barely AAed a song.

I'm with you on that one. A lot of those songs could have been knocked out for some from all the other DDR home games and still made it better.

Shoulda been knocked out:
1) YMCA
2) The Reflex
3) Bizarre Love Triangle
4) Believe
5) Your Rain

Shoulda been there:
1) All of DDR Max and DDR Max 2
2) All of the Japanese only songs we don't have in the US copy.

What should happen to the next DDR:
1) Make the US copy worth the same as the Japanese Copy
2) Have the Arcade only songs as unlockables.

Crossovers! especially long sets of alternating front and back crossovers. It's why I still can't beat rhythm and police or exotic ethnic on heavy, but I've beaten max 300, HVAM, CSFILSM, and other catas

When you choose random and when you complete the song is goes to Graduation or something and it doesn't return to random.

People who play the same song over and over again--like these two fat chicks playing butterfly on light mode--and they were sweating everywhere... I had to wipe down the pad at the arcade before I could play because it was too slippery.

When people don't have the courtesy to help upkeep the pads and screen--like this guy played with really dirty shoes, and the dirt was making the pad slippery. Or when someone accidentally spills something on the screen and doesn't bother to clean the screen. Or even wipe off the bar for the next person... there is nothing worse than leaning on a sweaty, sticky pole.

Nay-sayers at the arcade--those people who have never played the game before and label it for retarded faggots.

The red random BPM display--which displays random numbers from 1 to 999. Is it really needed? I would like to see the real BPM for many of the songs. Doesn't the song "Dance Dance Revolution" do this? I find that highly annoying.

People who insist on talking to you during gameplay--or those who stand right behind the bar and watch. Stupid ho' didn't know I was going to lean on the bar and then the back of my head hit her face.

Children--PARENTS, KEEP YOUR KIDS ON A LEASH IF YOU WANT THEM TO KEEP THEIR FINGERS INTACT!

At our arcade, they have a basketball game near the DDR machine. Sometimes mini-basketballs sometimes venture onto the pad and injure people. Scott actually stepped on one before and luckily wasn't hurt because he was holding onto the bar at the time.

There should be a nonstop all random course with random modifiers.

Those blue frogs in the background vids in some of the songs--like Breakdown and Jet World.

When I play with other people, sometimes they use solo on primarily orange backgrounds, making it difficult to see the arrows. Songs like that include the Trip Machines (especially climax) and Max 300.

People who stomp all the time--thinking that pressing the arrow harder will result in a better score.

Beginner bar rapers--mainly people who bar rape on butterfly light or butterfly standard.

People who cut in line without asking permission. There has been several times when I've cut, but I asked EVERYONE else playing before I did it, and on all of those occasions, I was on my last 6 tokens and I wanted to do a doubles round before I left. Unlike some people who just enter the arcade and expect to play right away.

Those creepy people who stand in the corner and just watch you play... not talking to anyone. People who ask you how to play. People who ask you "how did/do you do that?"

People who try to hit the arrow in the Beginner's Tutorial always make me laugh. Big talkers who are easily shown up make me laugh.

(i think I'm done)

I agree also. DDR EXTREME has a severe lack of songs from the arcade--and there are way too many songs added that no one likes--aka YMCA and Go West. Your Rain is good, and You're Not Here is also good. V is like the only song with challange steps (maximizer has those also, but you have to beat mission mode to unlock them...). The scoring system is messed up too. I get 556 perfects and 1 good, and it's an A. All songs have the same score--regardless of difficulty.

Ever so right! Can't stand mission mode period. It would be better if each mission unlocks something. I would think by the way that the 100th mission is exactly what the challege difficulty chart would look like and if this is all you get I think people would break their home copy of the game.

Huh? I've beaten RaP and CSFILSM heavy but I haven't beat Max 300 yet...

*sniff* Something smells...

like bullsh!t.

Anyways, DDR dissers and sweating while playing are my biggest pet peeves about DDR.

The only thing that bugs me is that most people that play have B.O. Like wert, or at least in my area.

*cutie chaser
*bag
*jana jana backround
(mainly the bacround because i always wanna look at it because its so fun looking so i sometimes do...my bad)

and when little little kids play and they dont have a clue what they are doing so they put it on beginner and they miss every arrow and dont fail.

...then again
its sometimes cute...but not always

75% of the steps on Healing Vision (Ang)
The announcer (there should be one but he speaks too much)
Some of the really cheesy background vids
The lack of a modifer selection screen on Euromix 2
