My friend got MAX2 for Christmas so after the holiday she invited everyone over to play. I sucked at it but it was fun so on I bought it. Now I play a little bit every day and I'm on heavy.

When did u first hear about ddr, when u first attempted to play it was it on a home pad or arcade, how often do u play on a regular basis? What was the first song u A'd or AA'd or AAA'd on light, standard, heavy?
And mods i aplogize if this is a reapete of any sort E19.gif but i thought this would be a decent topic.

I first heard about it when I lived in California, often passed it when playing other arcade games, but I never attempted it before the summer of 2003. My first time then was in an arcade-- jeez, I play alot on a regular basis. I'd have to say at least twice or three times a week. The first song I A'd was definitely in beginner, but my first AA wasn't until light mode--- maybe it was Dream a Dream, I don't exactly remember.

I was home being bored on some day in 2000, and I kept himting to my parents for a new video game because I was bored. (I was yound and didnt have any money). Well, my aunt was coming up from LA, and I asked her to bring some video games. She brought some. We all played through them until we got to ddr. She pulled out the pads and we started the game up! I started for the first time and already doing slow 4-5 feet songs. We eventually beat every song in the game, and I got bored with it and tosssed it aside for about a year.

I was bored another day a year later, and decided to check a ddr website to see what was happening. I was amazed at how many songs and mixes that were now availible. I bought them all and played them. Until I got to this point were I beat everything in DDR and now working on 11-13 foot songs on ITG. The End!

One day I was on a website for bust-a-groove, it had something on DDR (at the time I didn't know about it) and I kept the game name in my head so I can reconize it!

Cut to local arcade... It was local in another city but, Meh! E13.gif
I didn't acually play the 3rd mix becuase the crowd...

cut to 2000...
Local K-mart 2001 Solo mix, when I finaly had money to play it, the machine didn't work anyway... but I had DDR USA already so I was o.k... but I still yearn for a chance to play a solo machine! laugh.gif

Cut to later...
A local acade has 5th mix... start playing arcade mixxes now. REST IS HISTORY!
