Obvoiusly it's registering, or you wouldn't get an Almost or Boo, right? It would be 100% misses on the right arrow if it wasn't registering at all.
Anyway, when asking a question like this, it would help if you provided enough information so people could help you (type of pad you have, type of adapter, etc). Too much information is always better than not enough when asking questions. _________________

Well, 99% of adapters used by people to play SM/DWI are USB. What I'm asking is what's the specific type of adapter you got, because there are many out there which are incompatible or create lag problems which are very similar to what you're describing.
For more details, I suggest checking out the adapter questions sticky thread, and the USB adapter guide at the SM website. _________________

You don't know what kind of adapter you bought?
Anyway, check the links I mentioned first. _________________

#1 problem with all ddr pc troubles, is that you didn't put your pad in analog mode when you mapped the keys. since you're standing on the left button, and the pc adapter is in controller mode, it won't register simultaneous left-right presses, or up-down for that manner. |

hold up+start+select for a few seconds after you plug in your pad and start up the game. problem solved, answer was in the adapter sticky the whole time. now I have to wait for Phi to lock this like old times... |
