i have a brand spanking new hard drive that i want to get rid of (still in retail box and all) .... wondering if anyone looking to buy a hard drive? 160GB, internal, western digital, UATA100, 2MB, .... $80 OBO + $6 shipping ..

What the hell? DDR Freak is not about nerds who like DDR, RAM, computer crap. It's about Dance Dance Revolution, a dancing game (hence DDR). This is not the place to talk about selling things, even though we have a marketplace (but that's for music related items). I'm getting really tired of this, but...

I would hope DDRFreak is about people who like DDR. Unless you're talking about DDR RAM, which means you don't really know what you're talking about.
Anyhoo: Yes, he did post this in the wrong forum. Yes, DDRFreak doesn't really have any appropriate forums to post something like this. Yes, he probably should have put it on eBay.

However, you didn't have to give as harsh of a response, especially because you try and speak for everyone on the forums. Whether you like it or not, many people (not as many on Chit Chat, but rather in the other forums) are interested in computers, and this might appeal to them. It's pretty safe to say that we are in a video game forum and there are "nerds". You sound like you have some kind of problem with people who have interests in computers. Anyway, that's just a pretty harsh statement for someone who thinks DDR is a computer component.
