Honestly, I'm thinking about quitting pretty soon, and just the fact that you are playing at your age makes me wonder what I'll be doing when I get there. Even though I'm still a kid, I still do all of the things that kids do, and DDR is getting kinda well...I dunno. Old. I'll never get good at doubles. That's a fact

And I cant read solo that well either. Looks strange to me. Oddly enough, I can't read vivid either. I'm so used to playing on Flat. Since My Sudden Shuffle Flat days I'm used to seeing the arrows the same color, I cant read them. AT ALL. That's why I have trouble with oni courses sometimes. (Getting Marvelouses) *sigh probably my reason for not being able to crack 3800 on naoki neo standard.

Oh well. This Hawaiian boy is over and out. To study for my finals that is

i used to suck but like after 1 month i started playing heavy and now i love to play i can beat only one 10 foot song and thatz bag (2x speed)

I first played 3 years ago when my friend introduced me to it. Now i finally have it. I play it like everyday, but i suck soo bad. I can't clear anything on standard. although i did get a AA on after the game of love today. i was SO happy. lol I don't i'll ever be really good at it but it's so much fun to play. They do need more for xbox though i'm getting kind of bored with the ones i have.

I suck at DDR, hell, the back of my shirt even says it.
And I've been playing for 8 months.
Best I can do is consistently C Sakura at the arcade, and I can C MaxX Unlimited at home. No arcade AAAs yet.

Compared to those who are all about PAing everything and getting AA and AAA's on 10 footers and Maxes, I guess I would "suck". But honestly, I don't really care. If not being able to rest until you're able to do that makes the game fun for you, by all means. But I do find comfort in being able to play a few games, knowing I probably won't get the highest score, and walking away knowing I had a blast doing it.

well, i guess i suck, but no one around here cares enough to play, but when the occasional (1 a year at most) ddr party comes up ppl think i should be on mtv or somthing just cause i can B all heavy songs.... phhht

^Gotta remember that what you're doing, to most people not in the arcade scene, what we/you/all of us can do is still pretty amazing. To your seasoned DDR player, you get graded on what songs you can do, with perhaps noting bar usage and mods added.

IMO, you don't suck. No one really "sucks".. but if you've had well over a year to learn to play and can't pass most standard songs, you have a "problem".

Just keep practicing. The more time and effort you put into it, the faster you will become adept at it and can start whupping on MAX or Paranoia songs.

ok i have been playing for a while it Took a month to get out of light, i've now really mastered standard except orion .78 civilzation which i can see how u move ur feet that fast but my mind can only registar the moves just milisecs b4 it there at that bar. but that's the only song i've really had problems on. anyway i suck but i'm moving slowly to heavy i have gotten a few songs that i've been good at.

question what do ya'll mean by footer i dont' understand that meaning. i'm new to the boards so gimme a break.
