I've gotten to where I'll modify steps for certain songs, mute DDR, and make steps to my own music. So I'll turn up my surround sterio and DDR to my own music.
Well, sometimes, anyways. I still love the DDR tracks, but sometimes I find these awesome songs that I really wish was part of the series. Anyone else ever do this? It's really fun |

I've done it a few times with some anime music. People will make their own DDR setups on their comp with stepmania sometimes, but they like to make them uber hard... _________________

If you're interested in making your own stepfiles, try Stepmania. It's editor lets you do essentially exactly what you'e doing with your console version. You can also download stepfiles made by others, which might include some of those songs you like. |

I actually think they should've let people put their own songs in DDR on teh Xbox version. I mean, technically, it's possible, so why not? That would've rocked. |

Um...what? What's wrong with putting songs into the game? some other game for the xbox created by microsoft let's you put them in, and edit them and crap. some games let you put songs in for a custom soundtrack. How is DDR different? |

nothing AFAIK, but i think orange was under the impression that you would obtain these songs from Xbox live maybe? that would result in lawsuits... |

i once had ddrmax in my ps2, and metroid prime 2 in my cube. i had the video input from the ps2, and the audio from the cube so it would be like MP2 music in ddr. its weird because it actually went with the music. |

There was a game in Japan released where you could edit your own songs with steps and backgrounds and the like called "Go Go Soundy!" from Konami. It didn't sell very well because people thought that going through all the trouble of making your own steps and backgrounds for songs was too tedious and boring. It failed in Japan. It ain't gonna happen. _________________
