Bemani Pocket. I have a Beatmania one. Some of them can be rather hard to find. They're neat little gadgets, I was amazed to find they have their own headphone jack.

| Ah yes, Bemani Pocket. Nifty little devices that came out around 2000, 2001, I think. Very rare little things now, though. There were lots of different Beatmania Pockets, 3 DDR Pockets (the Hello Kitty one, a normal DDR, and a Winnie the Pooh one), Pop'n Music Pocket, and even a ParaParaParadise Pocket (This one's extremely rare). If you go up a level on that page to here: Bemani Pocket List, you'll see all of them, including a Guitar Freaks (?!) Pocket. |

...I don't think they make it any more. =X.
I was planning to get one back in the day, but I decided not to since I was assuming that 'Hello Kitty' will give it a ghetto feeling and game play.

I saw a ParaParaParadise Pocket at a local Asian Market a few years back. Sadly, I had no idea what it was and decided not to shell out the money to buy it. After I found out what it was, I went back and they no longer had it.
T'was a sad day.

The retail price for when it came out was 2,300 yen. (I think some where around there.)
So now it should be around $10 or something at some kind of ghetto Japanese store. If you find it at Toys+n00bs, it'll probably be a rip off.
