Theres a very important part of DDR that no one has yet mensioned.

I find DDR more fun then usual because it poses alot of challenge, when looking at heavy for the first time, everyone will say to them selves that theyll will never get around to be able to complete it. But now, with all the extra effort, Ive managed to clear them and I believe everyone can do it.

Like the old post....wouldent Michael Flatley be a great dancer, definatly not because DDR has its own techniques and methods that make even the most fit peeps on the planet would need to work though to do them.

I play it for a number of reasons

1) I am a video game addict. If I like a game I will play it obsessively. Last Christmas break I went on the "Gamecube Diet" which involved me playing so much that I barely even ate.

2) I am a show off and I'm competitive. I guess being a cheerleader will do that do you.

3)And as everyone else said: Fun and exercise

If you play DDR for any reason other than it being one of the most fun things ever (possibly with the exception of weight loss), you should stop playing.

laugh.gif yeah that ones mine too. I play ddr cause its so addicting. I love the arrows!!!

But really i play for the attention. Like at the arcade. Everyone wants to be the guy, or girl, that brings in the giant crowd. I guess i play for two reasons then.........

1. Of coarse to become better and to chanellge myself
2. Get a crowd of like 20 people checking me out on the pad!!

(hey it could happen)

Easy way to make friends. All the other obvious reasons. There is something about the game that is so addicting that so many people like it! laugh.gif

DDR has no real purpose or point to it other than getting better at it.

I played to fight a drug addiction. After I beat it, I still kept playing. To this day, I don't know why.

I play because a Columbian drug lord killed my father. To seek my revenge, I must become the best DDR player known to man so that I may challenge the drug lord's son in the next international tournament. Only then can I get close enough to his son, and thus the drug lord himself, to exact my revenge.

I play ddr because it keeps me away from my comp, keeps me in shape, and it is a fun as hell. If i could, I would play ddr on all of my free time, with a good dance platform of course!

1. because no one else at my school plays it (aside from a few other kids but they aren't as good as me biggrin.gif)

2. because its friggin FUN

3. because its good excersize, unlike some other popular games -cough-HALO-cough-

4. because I actually have a hard time doing parts of it

--these are put in no specific order and simply numbered for organizational means--

To get my occasional fix on those cool songs I can't let go/find elsewhere, i.e. e-motion, Colors, Stoic, Sakura, etc.

Quick audience drawer for some reason, too.
