(I posted this in GamePlay and was asked to post it here... sorry for the double post)

I'm having problems hooking up DDR to my computer. I first did this a few months ago, but reformatted my hard drive today and it's all frick up again. Same problem when I first hooked it up awhile ago (DX Xtreme pad hooked up through LPT port), button 9 is constantly held down while button 13 "flickers" on and off. It was a long time ago and don't know how I fixed it. But I reformatted my hard drive and it's doing the same thing now. Strange thing is that it does the same thing for the PS2, it's like start is on repeat, I have to unplug the pad and plug it back in to play on the PS2 but I can't do that on the computer.

I'm using NTPAD XP con ForceFeedback 2.01 and I have Disable axes mapping checked

If you have any idea what's causing this please reply as soon as you can because I'm really itching to play. If you want to contact me directly my AIM SN is Katana XIII and my email is [email protected]

Thanks.

Alright I really want to play DDR so if anyone has successfully connected a BNS DX Xtreme pad to play Stepmania with an LPT adapter, post exactly how. I'm sure there's a bunch of you.

Or at least tell me where I can ask this and get an answer. NTPAD's website isn't even online anymore yet everyone says it's the only/best driver to use... someone should make something a little more up to date =\

I heard the word "adaptor" in your post, and guess what...

There is a sticky for this.

I'm using the BNS adapter.. which is fine. It recommends the NTPAD driver which I'm having a problem with. So it's not an adapter problem. Read a little more carefully next time. =\
