Awesome...I've been needing some help with FS.
I'm trying to put together some routines for heavy songs, and I want to do a doubles routine, but I don't have two pads. _________________

Anything between 90-135 BPM that's 1 or 2 feet, beginner steps included. _________________

I have for you all...the most unspectacular improv ever.
I was tired as hell after work, walked into the tourney as the LAST FREESTYLER of that day (i.e. the 2nd - yes, that's how dead the scene is up here) was finishing, did this, and won the 15 dollar pot. OH SHIT =|

I like it but I do that damn "walk to the other pad" thing three times...not a lot of thought went into this at all, hahah. Maybe I'll make a routine to it later. _________________

one tip: Just doing spins won't cut it
I saw one guy at this tourney, just spin around whenever there was a U,R,D,L or U,L,D,R pattern, and do nothing else for the rest of the song, with his arms hanging limply at his side. (Yes, it's a run on sentance, no I don't care) _________________

I am probably going to start free styling soon. Once I get out of this cold...
Any tips or song suggestions for a beginner on a ps2 to start with extreme US and Max 2 Us? _________________

Isn't the point of "improv" is to "not comp up" with something?...
just a thought. |

captaincanada: i was diggin that improv, everything looked smooth. i'd definately say work on waving isolation though. your waves seem random, they have no intent, no purpose. theyre just...there. remember that waving is a part of your dance, not a trick you throw out. and even if you're using it as a trick, make it a point to accentuate the trick if thats what you're going for. dont force a wave, just let it come out, let it move you, not the other way around.
i think im gonna go shoot some improv footage today actually... _________________

Mm, yeah, looking back at it, I definitely see what you mean. Maybe if I'd been a little more familiar with the arrows, I could have put some more focus into the waves. Thanks for the advice, though, it's always good to know what I need to work on. _________________

random improv FS today in between playing In The Groove
*insert link here later*
(sorry, having trouble with my stupid server. i'll up later.)
the other machine to the left was turned up waaaay higher than the one i was playing on. for that reason its difficult to hear the song im playing (hell, it was difficult for ME to hear it, lol). the reason why i myself didnt play on the other machine is because the sensors were removed from every arrow (but the game wasnt out of order...so unknowing people sitll played it).
also, this was a very public place...so of course every moron saw a camera and had to jump in front of it.
with all that aside, enjoy.
edit: stupid link _________________
