I know that Konami has had plans to make an ASC for DDR in the past I was just wondering if they ever did? If so, can I still find one now or what are the top pads that are very close to the arade feel.

I heard that they did, and it looks amazing, and is practically identical to the arcade, and it costs something in the neighborhood of $2000. Good luck finding one =(

sorry to bring up an old topic but i'd rather use an old one relating to my question. i'm really interested in the "authentic" Konami DDR Metal Pads. i heard rumors they only made a few hundred of them, wanted to know if they are still reproducing them or a place online that may actually sell these "rare" pads. i tried e-bay but no luck. another question i have is, say i actually find one and buy it, will it be easy to maintain and last very long just like it's arcade counterpart and is this pad actually better than the cobalt flux since it is made by konami? any light or more info would help, btw i just bought a cobalt flux pad.

You can't purchase these anymore. They were quite expensive at that time, as I believe they used authentic arcade parts. That was a long time ago and that time they were selling for $2000, therefore if you can even find one now it'll be more cheap to buy yourself an arcade machine. E10.gif
