when you start to dream of the background videos like the GENOM SCREAMS video. I dreamed that I was the one being chased and woke up all sweaty like I just played $10 worth of DDR on heavy non-stop.

other side effects:
1. your mind starts playng tricks on you when you here someone say "dance"

2.You have no life outside of DDR except school

3.You have no friends (possibility)

4.You have lots of arrorws running through your mind like when you dream, walking down the street, and spacing out in class looking at the board focused thinking that you are playing.

5.you sweat thinking about playing.

-legs start hurting like hell after playing for about 5 hours straight (longest I've gone was 9 hours and could barely walk afterwards riiight.gif )
-blisters on your toes if you play with toes a lot (also happened to me)
-many pairs of ruined shoes
-ruined shirts from drenching them in sweat too often

Closing your eyes and seeing streams of steps

Sweating so much you look like you were in the rain

Doing a song on Challenge then falling off the pad out of exaustion when it's done

Sore muscles

Weight loss (though a very benifical side effect)...

When you can't get any sleep at night because u can't get the songs and arrows out of your head, and when you flex your calf, it begins to tighten and it is very painful, (try flexing your calf after playing a few games, especially 9 and 10 ft songs, you'll see what i mean E13.gif .)

Ohh, I know now! How about having no life and no friends but the ones who play DDR? Ya know, like the girls you go to the mall with and you all run over to the DDR machine.

That is just sad... but if you lose your friends because they don't like to do what u do, then i think that its time to get some new friends, like the ones at the arcade...

The competiveness and cockyness comes out of people. -_-
"Oh I am better than you, I can do this, oh can you do that, what now, etc."

I hate DDR players like that.
