hello all! i want to tell about m favorite DDR spot that was taken away from me. there's this place in New Jersey called hudson mall and i loved it there, very local and fun and the arcade was great and best of all, DDR!!!! i use to go there on my breaks from school and stuff. but sadly, one day, i went to the arcade to discover all the machines were down and being packed away. i just sat there looking at it and not understanding what was going on. a week later, the door was broaded up, and the only thing i could think of was NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
now my days of DDR every day are limited to 3 times a week or none at all. last month, i didn't even get to play. all the other DDr spots are hogged by kids or not there at all. i weep for my DDR . i miss it sooooo much. (CRIES) |

Calm down. Consider yourself lucky you can go and play 3 times a week. And also, if other kids are hogging the machine, just shove your way through and play. _________________

Use the line system. Put a coin in and complain if they use it. And stop complaining I used to get to be able to play 0 times at the arcade per infinite amount of time. _________________

Consider yourself lucky. From my hometown, you'd have to travel 45 minutes to get to the closest DDR machine. Lots of people are in the same boat. Just be glad you have a DDR machine that you can get to.
I do sympathize. I worked at a small mall in college that had an arcade. On my breaks, I'd go down to the arcade, but it eventually closed, leaving nothing to do. |

I go maybe once a week. It's about 20 miuntes away from me. You are (or were) lucky.
But, to stay on task, you should just get the home DDRs. That way you won't miss it as much. _________________

Wow, get over it.
You can still play 3 times a week. I'm lucky if I can find a machine to play three times a month.
I do not sympathize. _________________

I feel you dude, I totally know how you feel.
Not to mention my PS-USB converter is busted to hell.
But hey, you could be like me and start the long and gradual process of learning how to break dance. _________________

Hello, home version/stepmania? I'm sure there are more arcades around your area. Check the machine locations. |

That's rough, but at least you have at least one machine in your area. Like someone else mentioned, use the coin line system and don't complain. |

We used to have a machine around me that was $.50 for 4 songs, loud, in its own room (no little kids running across the pads or people not knowing what they're doing screwing things up), and well-maintained. Now it's gone an the only machines in town are half an hour away, significantly more expensive, and crap. I pretty much haven't been back to the arcade since. It sucks... I was so close to beating PSMO too. Oh well. _________________

i can go around 4 or 5 times a month.
i have to wait in line
i put my school ID up and than play something else until it's my turn
consider yourself lucky for being able to play 3 or 4 times as much as most people
or find someting else to do

wow, that sucks.
But then again, I can't ever recall New Jersey having great arcades........ I live in WNY, NJ, and I just go to NYC to play ddr. It's like $2 for 4 songs, but I go like every 2 months.
Consider yourself lucky as hell to be able to play 3 times a week. _________________

I live about a mile away from a quality DDR machine. But, i used to have to drive 30-45 minutes to a machine. I kind of sympathize. _________________
