I'm looking for the measurements of a DDR arcade cabinet

OK, I've done fourm searches and Google searches, and I can't find what I'm looking for. I'm looking for measurements describing the size and shape of a DDR arcade cabinet. And if they're different for different mixes, give me the ones for Extreme if you can.

I case you couldn't guess, I'm basically trying to build a machine to emulate the arcade experience at home. I've found plenty of information on building the pads and setting up the lights and electronics, just not on the cabinet.

And I don't need anything as complicated as plans or blueprints (though those wouldn't hurt, either), I just need the outside measurements of a DDR cabinet.

I'm trying to avoid having to go to my local arcade and wait until the opperator's back is turned to take the measurements myself. And no, they wouldn't be understanding.

And yes, I have plenty of building and carpentry and drafting experience, so I don't need any posts of people trying to discourage me.

Well... I suppose that's a start. I'd like some more specifics though. I can't recreate a cabinet from the measurements in the FAQ. In fact, the depth measurement is useless because the distance from the pads to the cabinet isn't stated.

OK, at this point I'll settle for someone telling me the height of the lower, wide part of the cabinet, the angle at which the monitor sits, and the distance from the front edge of the pads to the cabinet.

When I actually get this project "off the ground," I'll probably post the plans I develop to build the cabinet.

I'd suggest that you post exactly what you need in the thread for that FAQ. Duplicating arcade cabinets is kinda more of an Arcade topic anyway, and it'd be nice if we could add that info to the FAQ as it comes up. I'm guessing a full desctiption of the dimensions of the cabinet would be about 30 lines or so, depending on how precise you are with stuff like the marquee.
