StepMania Themes

Hey, if you guys will point me in the direction of one of those half-finished 5th mix themes, I'd be happy to finish it up. But I wont do it "Arcade strict", I like all the options that stepmania has. And some screen shots of 5th mix might be nice too ...

Just to let you guys know I managed to get Stepmania to take my new Judgment 1x6 image file. What I originally did was copy the one from the default theme into my theme folder and renamed it to .bak instead of .png so I could revert to it should I do something wrong. However, Stepmania somehow kept a reference to THAT file, which is why it wouldn't care for mine. As soon as I deleted that file from my Graphics folder, it worked. To me, that's kind of a bug, but at least I managed to find a workaround

you know what no graphic file in sm starts with?

"fu*kin old"

simply put that infront of any graphics you are no longer using.

Well, I've started on the Extreme US theme.

I have no idea where I'm gonna get the graphics from, but what concerns me now is that I can't get the wheel to scroll like it's supposed to.

I want it to scroll horizontally, but it wants to stay vertical or diagonal.

...Help?

EDIT: Now it's stopping and saying that my character files don't have some rest.bones file or something. Any ideas?

i heard something about a splash image that was made for the DDR:RED theme, and was wondering if anyone could link it to me or post the image or something. i've checked places and can't find it.

I don't want to continue the topic if it doesn't belong here, but are the characters supposed to dance on the how to play screen?

It depends on which theme you're using. Whether or not the character appears on that screen is in the theme metrics. I know the default themes (SMMAX/SMMAX2) do, Techno Fiend doesn't, and I forget for all the other themes.

Last time i checked:
DDR Extreme VS1 didnt.

One more reason to forget takuya exists.
