| what should i set the life difficulty in stepmania to in order for it to be the same as the arcade (extreme)? |

Honk! Wrong answer.
He's asking about the life bar, not timing windows.
Anyway, the answer is that there IS no answer because any particular arcade location can set the difficulty to whatever they want. The best thing to do is adjust the level in stepmania and watch how fast it drains when you miss... when it looks like the place YOU play at, then you're all set. |

oh ok, i think i'll change my life difficulty to 6
also, about the timing window thread, what is the difference between the 8th mix arcade one and the frame based one? which one should i use? i run stepmania with vsync on so my fps stays capped at 85fps. |
