What's on your feet while playing DDR?

i use my pair of Fallen skate shoes. make sure their dry before steping on any thing with a smooth surface. it tends to get slippery. when i get my CFs im gonna buy a new pair of shoes. i cant use my cruddy skates for these works of art

If im playing at home on my konami pad i have to say i prefer playin in my low cut socks.... ive tried playin bare for the grip but things kinda sticky so that didnt fly . if im hittin the arcade, i will play in my metallica boots, and lemme tell u sumptin thems boots is heavy! on a lighter note, when i see girls playin with them tall boots on, whew, i need to catch my breath

DC Dyrdek Tens. Nice, comfortable, grippy but not overdone. Great for DDR and skating.

For home pads, like home metals? DC's are gunna be the best ACTUAL skate shoes you are gunna be able to use. All other skate shoes (excluding Vans) WILL destroy arrow panels. And at the arcade, all skate shoes seem to be a little more grippy than others. I'm just saying from experience, Gym shoes are the way to go, or Converse!

I just tie some plastic bags to my barefeet and then i tape some rubber on the bottom, viola, you have light weight ddr shoes

Yeah Dagget I skate/play ddr in the DC Kayrons myself, most skate shoes are perfect for DDR.

i found out that playin in ice creams is not only really comfortable but hella stylish as well.

I got a pair of black sneakers at Wal-Mart that are velcro. I hated getting my laces untied on the pad, so velcro is much easier.

At home on my red octane I play with socks on,, becasue when your bareful then it doesn't let your feet slide as much and move around as fast[for me anyways] and it also depends what level your on.

At arcade i play in regular running shoes just any shoes it doesn't matter for me as long as they are tennis shoes. It would be hard to play in sandles.

I cant remember if I posted in this thread. I play at home in my socks. At the arcade I'll normally play in Etnies Callicuts but I decided to ecperiment and try old skool vans and It seemed to be slightly easier.

i wear my good old hi-top converses when i play. the hi-tops make it so my feet dont come out like the slip on vans do which are kinda heavy. If i were gonna train for a tourny or something i would wear those for a week and then wear my cons again because the difference in shoe weight would help my feet move faster and be all "wow my shoes are so light this is really easy" so it would kinda like being barefoot...but still wearing shoes...its like when you put shoes on and then play barefoot(those that do) its the same thing as wearing vans(shoes) and then putting on cons (then going barefoot) same concept i dont save my cons for that special ddr day and are alll clean and stuff because you need the traction on them and playing ddr with them will make the bottoms all smooth if you wear them out on street and then play they will build up traction from the ground just besure to wipe your feet before game play we dont want any dirt messin up the back arrow...well anyway im in school lol so i gotta get off now....>.<
