If you all did not already know, SMOnline Public Beta began a few weeks ago. For download and server info visit http://forums.system-online.net. You will need to register for an account to view the forums. Once you have a forum account, you are able to log into SMonline and play.

Everyone sign up, this is gonna be really sweet when it's done. Also, there will eventually be a rankings system and possibly tournaments and such. Just make sure you have a lot of songs or people will get mad at you.

Then it seems like they're going to need a good solution for those who only have a set of certain songs, like people who like Konami originals, those with slow internet conenctions... (you know people like me. ) Otherwise there's no way it can be equal. Maybe if they had different places for different people or something.

There are multiple sections, a novice and advanced section. You can also create your own room in each of these categories, so if you only want to play easy songs go into the novice section, but no one really checks it yet because n00bs think that advanced means passing pad steps :/

2 things: Don't post in all caps, and this doesn't really deserve a sticky IMO.
A really good idea (for people with fast internet anyway) would be to have the ability to download the song from the server if you don't have it. That way nobody would have to worry about not having enough songs.

While it is "beta" it's still "public."

Sorry, we cannot allow that. At least now we cannot for legal reasons.
People have posted sites for download of many of the songs they play. |

Best. Idea. Ever.
Although, instead of downloading from the server, the ability for one user to send song folders(or mix folders) to another user. That would be even sweeter, and no lag for the server.
