Tell us something in a DDR game that you don't think many people have noticed. Here's mine:
When your combo gets over 100, the arrow explosions change. (Put it on Hidden and Dark to see)
And these are from the DDRExtreme US instuction booklet:
At the end of the Special Thanks in the credits it says "Funk Boogie...".
The main menu on page 45 is all mixed up (compare to page 8). Probably from an unfinished version or something. _________________

Yeah, I know Funk Boogie is a song in the game. I just think people might not have noticed that it mentions it in the special thanks.
Okay, here's another one: Bring a solo edit from KONAMIX on to DDRMax2 and try to edit it. A message will pop up that says "This song cannot be edited in Dancing Stage MegaMix".
EDIT: And by "you should put on -whatever- mods to see", I meant, I meant "to see it better". Sorry. _________________

Yeah, arrow explosions on 100+ combos have been around since 5th Mix actually. And back then, they were multicolored! Once you got a 100+ combo, the arrows randomly exploded in I think blue, pink, green, or gold. I know blue, green, and pink were definitely in there, because blue and green made it look like you were getting a Great when when it might have been a Perfect. Not sure about gold, though. Thankfully Max onward changed it to just green for great, just gold for Perfect, and just white for Marvelous. |

hmm...
on ddrex arcade:
green = new on mix (unlocked on reset)
blue = from old mix (unlocked on reset)
yellow = from another bemani game (locked on reset)
purple = from home version (locked on reset)
dark blue = challenge only (locked on reset)
red = new on mix (locked on reset)
also:
arrow explosions get flashy at 100+ combos
on difficulties, yellow is easy, red is medium, and green is hard when it should be green, yellow, red
on 6-8th mixes, an arrow explosion that would be a marv if marvs were on appears white instead of yellow
ddrexus has "MARVELLOUS" timing
all songs cut off around 100 seconds
greats don't add to your combo on oni mode
"ARE YOU ENJOY?"
the perfect window is 1.5x bigger on a home version than at the arcade

Only You's steps are straight, even though the song is swing (in a half-time feel. Really, the arrows should be going twice as fast, and then it could swing).
There has yet to be a flashing 10 on a PS2 release.
The announcer sometimes doesn't pronounce his "r"'s very well. (ex: "Wow! It's a new recohed!")
I'm guessing that the disco guy, what's-his-name, is the announcer. Doesn't seem like that would fit?
The two starting dancers in ExtremeUS are named Rhythm and Blues. Rhythm and Blues. They are named after part of a pop music style. That's horrible. _________________

When my wife and I started playing DDR, Witch Doctor was one of our favorite songs and we thought the "Are you enjoy?" blocks were hilarious. Not a week after we first noticed them, we were at a Thai restaurant. Our waitress came up to us and asked "Are you enjoy?" It was hard to cordially answer "yes" while holding back laughter. _________________

A lot of people don't seem to notice that the arrows flash marvelous white during normal play as well as in challenge mode. The only difference is that it still says perfect. Just one of the reasons that Extreme is easier to PA on if you sightread. |

LoM didn't have a flashing rating in US EX.
Actually, I'm pretty sure none of the tens flashed on US versions. Each US PS2 game only had one ten-footer, so Konami didn't have to make it flash to stand out. Just the fact that the song was a ten accomplished that.
As for JP versions, I wouldn't know. I have yet to play either of my imports. _________________

But is TLOM not a flashing 10 according to its original source, DDR Extreme AC? |

Whether or not it is on its original source, I think he means that the 10-Foot rating has yet to flash on a US PS2 game. But yes, in all truthfulness, The legend of MAX is a flashing 10-foot on DDR Extreme AC. _________________

Bzzt. In japan, Green is not considered a "safe" or "cool" color, as it is in the US, and is actually considered to be stronger than red. Thus why Maniac/Heavy has green feet for its difficulty.
Many more songs than you realize have been re-evaluated for how many feet they are. For example, Drop Out and End of the Century have been back and forth between 8 an 9 feet. Sometimes, the reasons are mysterious; Break Down light went from 5 to 4 feet on 8th mix, for example. _________________

On MAX2, on the song take me away, if you look at her when she is leaned up against the wall, she is wearing a fishnet thing. If you look at her waist and below, it is how you would say, "revealing..." |

The "Funk Boogie" Thing has been around for a while at the end of the credits...
I can't remember for sure, but I think Max2 is Keep on Liftin'. I don't for the life of me remember what is on Max 1, Konamiz, or DDRUS. However, I believe they all end with a song title. _________________

I'm sorry about my post before. Here's the real reason that green is a stronger color than red.
Oh, and does anyone know exactly how many songs Naoki (pseudo-nyms included) has in all of DDR? _________________
