Hip Hop Mania Complete Mix 2

Hello

I have a chance to buy the arcade game HIP HOP MANIA COMPLETE MIX 2. I have never played it and would like anyone's input on the game.

If this is the one from Kansas City get it. This game is fun along with the mix and machine. If you like Dj'ing get it.

CM2 is probably my favorite Beatmania mix that I've played, with 5th Mix coming in at a close second. I say go for it.

I would have to say
The Final 1st, then CM2, then Club Mix.

Everything else after that is blah.

Some of you seem to imply HipHopMania and Beatmania are the same. They are not.

Beatmania CM2 = good!

HipHopMania CM2 = ok. It's missing quite a few tracks, but this "Konamix" rendition isn't so bad as the BEMANI artists were pretty good by then.

Um, they are the essentially the same.

The only real differences is that HHM is missing any licensed songs that Beatmania had.

It's the same thing as Beatstage. It's almost the same thing as Beatmania, but not quite. Songlist is the same, but the judgement is different, difficulty is ridiculous, and some of the codes for BM don't work on Beatstage.

Right, it's missing about half a dozen songs that really seem to fill in the gaps and make CompleteMix2 less stale. Still, both HHM and BM CM2 share the songs by AKI, (AKI = Slake?) THE FALL is a dark oriental tune with excellent bass and a favorite of mine.

In summary for the original post, I'd say get the machine. You could swap the boards with TheFinal and BMCM2 later.

I had the liberty of playing that very same mix as my first BM game. It's got some good songs on it. I liked it but in the machine the 1p leftmost buttin stuck
