Just think of them as an anti-arrow. If you hit them you lose dance points which takes away from your score (and your health). So basically when you see a mine pile on all 4 arrows you either center panel (good old beginner days haha) or you jump in the air (or hoist yourself with the bar hahah). By the way, the training stage is really good and informative. It even says not to center panel E1.gif

The nearest ITG machine is like 200 miles from where I live, so instead I just took the liberty to download a couple of simfiles instead.

Anubis was the first one, and just my luck, the very first arrow in the very first ITG song I play is actually 4 arrows at the same time. My pad doesn't work right now, but I'm guessing that I can hit all 4 without touching the arrows with my hands.

Then I looked at Pandemonium (the 13-footer) and to me it looks pretty hard, though not borderlining on impossible like other people were making it out to be. Then I tried it on standard (9-footer) and it isn't much harder than loM standard, except that it's longer. And my stamina sucks right now, so I guess I should start practicing now.

Also I'm SO glad I learned to play on my toes, it makes the mines easier to dodge when you're constantly hopping up and down (I dodged every single one of them on Pandemonium standard [I just realized that it's not called Standard in ITG] on my first attempt)

i also dl some of the sims....alot of the expert courses seem like moderate overkill for the average player. example one would be euphoria expert...i have a hard time with this. anubis is one of my favorite songs to play along with disconnected hyper.

Ok I know this is a stupid question... Is there a way for using a "hand arrow" to show up as a hand? I've ran into a few and usually end up taking an odd step.

....laugh all you want....

Nah, there's no way to mkae it look different, but after you play the stepcharts a few times, they don't surprise you as much.

Hands... I like them in concept, but they seem overused in some songs.

Anyway, they're easy enough to spot. When there's three arrows, pick one of them and use a hand. Four, pick two. Five or more, get your knees involved. (Yay, Bend Your Mind doubles.)

Before you pick a song, check the hands count in the song info. If there are any hands, try playing on a slightly slower speed mod than you would normally, so you can read ahead a bit and see upcoming hands. That'll give you more time to be ready for them. E1.gif

Profile thing? You mean, like, tracking your scores and stuff?

Just stick in a USB flash drive... or at least most USB flash drives (some don't work... and hard drives don't work either, BTW), and then it'll make a folder and start saving your scores and such.

If you're referring to something else... I don't know what you're talking about. :S

What modes do mines appear on?

How can you avoid a mine if it's on a long freeze arrow?

Mines appear in specific spots in specific songs. When you're going to play a song, check the info in the corner of the screen. One piece of information is the number of mines.

Since mines are specifically placed, they'll never appear in the middle of a freeze arrow. Additionally, if you want, mines can be disabled from the options menu, or additional mines can be placed in the place of certain steps.

Actually, I think I've specifically heard that you can't use your IPod for it. It uses a different version of the USB protocol, or something. :/ However, a USB flash drive isn't that expensive, and you'll probably spending more than that on tokens, anyway.

2 Questions.

1. How do you determine the spped of C400 and C200?

2. Is there extra stage in I.T.G? Becouse I remember on I.T.G Phantom or whatever its called, ;befor it shutdown for a while, there was a vid. on the main page with a guy saying " I'm risking my extra stage to play this...." or something along those lines. If there is one, how do you get it?

Thanks.

Also, I got a USB Card and wanted to know how do you make a name to save files on it. Becouse I don't feel like entering my name each time becouse I'm lazy..... biggrin.gif

C400 and C200 will look the same as a song that's going at either 400 BPM or 200 BPM.

I believe there isn't an extra stage on ITG.

There's a video somewhere at the actual roxorgames website of Foyboy failing Pandemonium, but he actually passed every song in the game on his first try. (ergo, that wasn't his first try on Pandemonium, he was just tired before that video.) In fact, I believe he's full-comboed every song on expert single other than four. (HotN, Euphoria, Tell, Pandemonium)

And really, MegamanX has FC'd HotN and Tell, so that means almost all the ItG expert songs have not only been passed, but full-comboed.

Really, there are a lot of people who've passed Pandemonium (at least 7, according to this iTgFreak thread), and really, as mentioned earlier, it's not impossible like people say it is.

EDIT: There's a video of the screen while DukAmok passes it on the third page. If you want a vid of someone playing it, though...
